Opus 40 is a 1-of-a-kind stone quarry sculpture located near Saugerties (Woodstock) NY. It's worth Googling to learn more about its amazing creation and beauty. This "hometown" site hosted a series of Labor Day weekend performances by Orleans in the 1980s, 90s and 2000s ... maybe 15 or so. Locals and others would come out to enjoy a late afternoon picnic-style concert at this unique "venue", creating a much-anticipated annual tradition while it lasted.
Sometimes it was just trio but, in this case, it was the 3 surviving founders + Peter O'Brien on drums. This is all I can find of this particular show in 1995. I added a couple of cuts from a 2001 performance where we were joined by then-active member, Bob Leinbach.
Once again, I suspect these performances were fan-captured by the Furlong clan :-). Much appreciation to Danny, Mike and Bob.
