My story is same as you exactely. Hated glasses. Struggled on for years. I meet driving standards up to now but feel I am really struggling now and scared. I was told I couldnt have laser eye surgery by Vision Express in Southampton a year ago. I have noticed now I am 45 my close vision is going to pot. Menus books are much harder to read.
