Hi, Lucy! I’m truly happy that you decided to open a new channel to talk about everyday stuff we can share with you. I could relate so much about not being “intellectually mature enough” when I was younger. Now I’m 27 and, even if I feared that it was too late to start University again, I’m attending Law School in Pisa (Italy) and I couldn’t have been happier! Learning is important to me. These years made me realize how much I needed to study again to fulfill my dreams, because it’s never too late to improve ourselves! Introverted doesn't mean socially awkward or socially anxious. You can be very confident and still be an introvert. The difference between introversion and extroversion comes from how you get energised. If you're an introvert, you can socialise fine, but you get energised from alone time, so your batteries get drained if you socialise for too long. Extroverts get their energy from social situations and need those social situations in order to charge their batteries, while too much alone time drains them.

I've been watching English with Lucy and now this for about a week now. I'm an author in America and I just enjoy the British accent a lot, and I enjoy watching a beautiful person talk (and you're very beautiful), so listening to you and watching you is appealing, and here and there I've learned some things to improve my English. (I've been pronouncing albeit wrong for years, lol.) It surprises me to hear that you're 24 in this video, which means you're 25 now. I'm 31 and I've had this feeling like you were older than me, more mature and developed somehow. I rarely ever get this feeling about someone younger than me. Perhaps never before, actually. I think it might be the British accent; it comes with an association of rightness for me. I wonder how many other Americans would react to you the same way I have. Blessings. :)

I wanted to say similar thing. This video looks exactly the same as English Lucy. I think it would be nice to film such videos in more homey settings. Like, on a sofa in a knitted pullover, along with the doggy, and a cuppa... And less makeup maybe.... maybe... I dunno :-)

@@lucy actually, now that you mention it, the recent one you made where you went to the local store to get some bread and things to make Will's lunch when you were getting out of your car, all i could hear really was the wind. Amazing how i am stone deaf but i can hear wind slapping around like a champion! I don't think that part was captioned. I would just say that those transitional points...going from indoors to outdoors, room to room, or even moving a microphone around are places where it is more difficult to understand a speaker. I absolutely LOVE watching and listening! XOXO
