I know shredded did alot more stuff than just the multiple planet genocides, but let's be honest, his crimes as the shredder were dustmites compared to what was heard in this trial
For being a 4Kids show, I am genuinely surprised by how much dark shit they got away with, especially during this particular scene where the Utrom tribunal were discussing how Ch'rell basically committed cosmic genocide on other planets and tried to rule the entire universe with an iron fist and an ocean of blood.
I loved how shocked he is when they convicted him with the guilty charge, seriously Shredder you’ve created more carnage and crime than any court could count what did you expect.
In this series after the Utrom crashed on Earth in the 11th century thanks to Ch'rell of course. Ch'rell learned about the legends of The Shredder a Demon who took over the real Oroku Saki in the 3rd century and took the name for himself.
@@ff3player i know but watching it as an adult, you realize the turtles talk too much between fights and they never kick ass. Just a downward motion and they fall backwards like the power rangers, except it's reverse.
I loved this version of TMNT. Especially this episode. Shedder thought he could get away with what he’s done over the centuries. But justice always wins
Shredder can kill can kill millions on a planet, cause a civil war on another, and then can't take over a single city on earth. What nerf did he take?!!
After all the shit he threw to literally EVERYONE in the show, enemies and comrades regardless, this scene was absolutely satisfying Best TMNT series ever created
I like how the TRI-bunal has six judges instead of three. Also there didn't seem to be any legal counsel. I feel like Shredder didn't get a fair hearing.
2:25. What freaked me out as a kid is the look of surprise on The Shredder's face. I always assumed it implied that the things he was accused of doing were his least horrible deeds and that he has done way worse.
Unfortunate that they didn't show the next part. Karai and Dr. Chapman were sent back to Earth and delivered directly to the police...and even after having all of the evidence shown right to her face, proven by witnesses of the respective ill fated races, Karai still refused to believe any of it. Ch'rell really messed with that poor kid's head. "This was not what I wanted Leonardo! THIS WAS NOT WHAT I WANTED!!!"
It honestly pisses me off that the judges literally reference how Shredder has committed galactic levels of genocide but his biggest punishment is just getting banished to some icy asteroid. He got off easy
I will never understand why people think Exiling characters away. Somehow ever works out in their favor. Even in our own world this has rarely ever freaking worked. As guess what Exiling Nepolian didn't stop him form becoming the emperor of France again. No the guy is just going to plot and Free himself. and go back to doing what he was doing. They should have just killed him. As guess what, i highly doubt he is phased by his own actions. they only amounted to nothing.
