i know this is old and the vocals are clearly a piss-take but at the same time i keep coming back here because these are sealed in my head as English lyrics to Sonic Drive and i keep singing them to myself from time to time. also the description really feels like im reading modern sonic discourse on twitter, youre a visionary
So many glitches and speedrun tactics. Boost launching from the first jump, and using the stomp to skip the springs helps, also, if you pace the joystick to make Sonic match Shadow's speed, and jump next to him, he'll trip/get hit, and doing it enough times actually slows him down when he goes "Chaos Control" and he won't catch you. There's also a glitch where if you trap him by the springs by stomping every time he gets up, you can slow his boost effect greatly. You can also glitch his lock on at the beginning by tripping him, and dashing the opposite direction, he'll dash after you (usually) and then if you take off, you'll give yourself a 30 second lead, if you use all the other methods in tangent.
Who the heck composed the original song!? Because this remix is atrocious!(I think Vengeance is Mine got remixed by the wrong person, only the true composer would make it faithful to the original)
This is leagues better than the console version by a long shot. Since none of Sonic’s friends are constantly going “THAT’S A HOMING SHOT!” While you’re in the middle of the fight. Plus it’s harder to get an S Rank here. Plus, there is a penalty to getting hit. Plus, attacking the Time Eater is not as time consuming and the attack pattern is more effective.
I hope for sonic x shadow generations They will retool this boss or make the time eater similar to a Titan fight, leave the rest of generations unchanged, just change the final boss its awful.
I replayed this game recently to prepare for Sonic X Shadow Generations (I never owned HD Gens). This fight is such a MASSIVE step back in complexity and difficulty from the Biolizard it's insane. It's especially jarring because in HD Gens, heroes is considered adventure era. I'm surprised they didn't bring back one of the bosses from Rush or Rush Adventure considering both were made by Dimps. Now, if this were 10 years ago, I would have said that they should have brought back the Egg Nega Wisp from Sonic Colours. However, they did that in Lost World. Then again in Forces. Therefore, they should have brought back the Egg Wyvern from Sonic 06.
Fuck. This comment section is straight up nuts! Some people say this version of the boss is better, and others say this one is just as bad as the console version! Everyone who said this version of the boss is bad, answer me this: Easy Final Boss: Bad Hard Final Boss: Bad?! Now the actual question: What kind of bot is this? Shouldn't a Final Boss be hard? You guys act like Sonic can't have Hard Final Bosses!
Would have got the same results on a weaker system. Sadly there is no way to solve this games weird ass performance drops even with a fully created shader cache.
