This makes me realize that Forces' grapple points are perfect for a reworked Werehog level design. I think I just hit the jackpot for perfect Werehog gameplay. 1: No Boost. Adventure/Heroes esque level design. Werehog keeps Sonic's speed without boost, but with better handling. 2: Keep the Homing Attack, but change the animation so that he stretches to grab an enemy, and pulls himself to it. 3: Instead of loops or rails as spectacle, Werehog Spider-Man slings around buildings, requiring maneuvering from the player, and grapple points help get from place to place. (Unlike Forces, these grapple points would be justified in the world)
I think instead of the homing attack just taking down the enemies right then and there, the homing attack should be a method to lead into or out of combos, both complex and simple.
are you gonna finally release this to the public, i remember watching this mod on Cobanermani456 as a kid and wanting this mod, since Sonic Unleashed was basically my first ever sonic game
@@Melpontro OPh! Hey, I've seen that one before. :) Still wish the model can be worked on for this game though. That way it won't glitch out intentionally.
I'd have to check with Dario regarding it, but I'm not sure if there would be much point due to the age of the mod and its issues. I believe there might be a more modern port of the Werehog that was released by another modder. The one Dario and I did was purely made a joke mod for the sake of a video.
@@Melpontro I see. There are plenty of Werehog mods to be had out there, but this was the only one I'd seen thus far that reimported the Werehog's animations. And his unique animations are part of the charm, you know? XP
