Everyone loves a good hunting story. But a hunting film is even better. We aim to share high quality, educational, + entertaining content that illustrates the importance of hunting and conservation. Our focus is mainly public land western backcountry hunting and public/private land midwest hunting.
Heavy is an adjective with many meanings: - Having great physical weight or density - Characterized by effort to the point of exhaustion; especially physical effort - Of great gravity or crucial import; requiring serious thought - Characterized by depth or intensity - Greater in quantity or quality than the average of its kind or class - Important, prominent
These definitions best describe our values. We feel that memories and objects earned, hold greater value in life than things that are easily obtainable. We believe most people can relate to hard work, fight, struggle, and perseverance (it also make for better stories).
You made an amazing video and got almost 100k views?!?! All without naming states in your title!?!? Stuck n Rut, Limitless Outdoors and many others claim it's not possible due to "algorithms" 😂 Bunch of 🤡s... Great bull guys!!!!
Truly an excellent video capturing an old school father with his two sons. I loved the Mathews Solocam, and the buck knife. Really well done, I’m envious, and thanks for sharing .
Sorry I didn’t see this comment until just now. We did not fill the rifle tag. If we had a couple more days I think we could have. We got very close but ran out of time. Thanks for the comment!
Just seeing this but great video. Wish I hit your time frame. Misinformed woke agendas are increasingly aggravating and should be shut down by science and unbiased research.
Wow what a great video. For a do it yourself “average guy”, this is the best video I’ve seen. On top of that, what a great bull! Congrats guys - new fan of the channel
Massive respect for addressing the shot. Gets exciting and decisions were made glad you got him. And awesome to have your dad there on your first mule deer. Congrats.
A truly wonderful shot. It's a pleasure to watch a video like this. A perfect hit, a beautiful trophy and a wonderful hunting atmosphere. I'm giving a subscription, sir
Headed out for an archery elk hunt late September 2024 in the Bitterroot. I’m from the midwest so wondering if insulated boots are must? I bought some non-insulated but thinking I should return them and go with insulated boots. Appreciate the the videos and was fired up to see your Dad get his bull. Thanks
Thanks for watching man. I wouldn’t worry too much about having insulated boots (even in late September). What boots did you buy? I just did a spring bear hunt with some snow and had 200 gram boots. I think it’s more important just to have a way to dry them out if they get wet.
Awesome buck! Great video, well edited and high quality. I appreciate your review of the shot placement, it tells me a lot about your desire to consistently grow as a hunter and show what actually happened on the hunt. It is definitely hard to be patient with a buck like that in the crosshairs, I would say even more so when you are cold and most likely a bit hungry. I look forward to seeing more of your content in the future.
This video is freakin awesome! It gets me excited to try to do it myself one day and was wondering what dates you hunted and have had the most success when going?
Thanks for the comment. I have always gone the last week of April or the first week of May. So that’s the only dates I have experience but we have always been in the bear during those dates. I’ll be going about that time again this year. Good luck when you give it a shot!
I guided in the Middle fork of the Salmon River, "River of No Return" area. For anyone to dismiss another persons accomplishments is ignorant. This outfitter could have taken the horses as close as possible, hiked in like you and your brother and father. It's merely a dismissal of his lack on his part to pursue so a beautiful animal and honor such a pursuit. Only those who put in the effort are rewarded. Congrats.
The outfitter didn’t “dismiss” their accomplishments. They just had a conversation with them explaining why they had a name for the bull. They were also just saying why they didn’t go after him, probably more to do with their clients than anything. It sounded like a respectful conversation between hunters. I get sick of young drama queens like you. Kid grow up.
Great Video, one of the better ones by far I have seen. What a wonderful memory you tow have to always share. I think of my Dad when I watched this, though we never had the chance to hunt or fish together, it sure makes me wish we had that chance, but he fell victim to the brown bottle flu, while now at 65 I still hunt and fish. Thanks.
y not just donate to CWRM instead of doing that stupid influencer shit saying "if we get 500 comments, 1000 shares, and 200 likes we will do this n do that" GTFOH
