How do you “explore” in this game. Been reading up on how to become the Ghost Master, but keep falling into “turn base” initiative. Is that the right way to go about this ttrpg? PS I subscribe to the Patreon, if it’s easier to talk there?

I found this video at random and I know this was released a year ago. I do like the esthetic, but I've found that you want to have your dungeons already constructed in some way. I don't really want to spend time, fiddling with each room, laying out 10-20 pieces every time the party goes somewhere new.
In the 80's, the f/x in the first 50 seconds would have cost millions of dollars and taken weeks to produce. These days, you can do it like Ray recorded the theme song, at home for next to nothing, relatively speaking. And you don't even need the high dollar studio he had. What a crazy world we live in.
Neat games and great vid. I'm excited to be playing Eat The Reich soon myself, I'm so excited! Also, Spire and Heart don't use the Havoc system - one of Grant Howitt's much older games "Havoc Brigade" is where it originates. Spire and Heart use the "Resistance Toolbox", another system made by Rowan Rook and Decard. Fantastic games, the lot of 'em. Defo check 'em out if you get the chance!
finally found icon style of thinking all the other videos series primary went over placements of everything and not exactly the style or possible icon choices for stylizing. I have been trying to build a map using isometric pixel art with the look of board game/war room plan maps and leaning the building blocks was the last piece of info I was looking for
It won't be until all three zines have gone out to patrons. Probably late August/early September. I know it's not ideal, but it's the only way I can keep up with it.
Does anyone know of a RPG for a stargate universe. Ai ship, search the shipfo adventures for supplies? Also learn to unlock its code and pilot the ship, control its data input and or mission. Thanks.
I was just binging @Scattered Terrain today and I was reminded she had a video with a Stargate. I wonder if she knows of one. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-DA5sV2xnUJ4.htmlfeature=shared
I'm so glad i found your content. I love the open enthusiasm you bring to this. Do you have a space for suggestions? I have some gaems i'd love you to cover.
I love the spaceship map. And .....all the little lines you were adding....just continued to build more and more detail. Made it look so fun and exciting for a game.
Shadowdark is a fun game and a wonderful resource for running games "on the fly". I love how it all connects logically. Your map-making plan is a great mind map. I taught high school for 31 years and mind mapping is an invaluable organizational skill. It's nice to see it put to such great use here.
Great video. I just got the Campaign Cartographer 3 collection from Humble Bundle and your tips will help me alot. You'd think it wouldn't matter since it's a software tool, but that just means you need to learn how to keep your maps tidy and maintain a consistent style.
