Sup. I'm The Waterloo Watermelon. I love music and therefore make videos about music, and release music (under the elegantly shortened named 'Waterloo).' Sometimes I also make videos about movies and videogames and also ironically sometimes make movies and videogames. What a life I lead. :(

The worst Christmas songs are:- 1. All Christmas songs of Justin Bieber 2. Paul McCartney's Wonderful Christmas Time 3. What's Last Christmas 4. ALL SONGS in Bob Dylan's Christmas album
13. Yellow Submarine 12. A Hard Day's Night 11. With The Beatles 10. Magical Mystery Tour 9. Beatles For Sale 8. Please Please Me 7. Let It Be 6. Rubber Soul 5. Sgt. Peppers 4. Help! 3. Revolver 2. Abbey Road 1. The White Album
16. Ummagumma 15. Works -- Not much new, but not much on any other album: Embryo, See Emily Play and Arnold Layne are great, B sides are awful. 14. The Final Cut -- So we're not going to address the hypocrisy, the racism? 13. The Endless River -- Only background music, but really cool background music. 12. More -- Cymbaline and The Nile Song make the album worth listening to. 11. Piper at the Gates of Dawn. Syd Barrett was brilliant, but none of his best songs are here. 10. Animals -- If you don't love it for his subversion of Animal Farm into an anti-capitalist rant, there's not much to like. I mean, yeah, it's got Gilmour's solos but... based on that, shouldn't it be below The Endless River? 9. The Division Bell 8. Obscured By Clouds 7. Atom Heart Mother 6. A Saucerful of Secrets 5. Momentary Lapse of Reason -- Let's face it, the rock snobs were just angry it wasn't a Waters album. 4. Meddle -- Echoes is the best side besides Dark Side, but I'm not such a big fan of the other side. Good songs, not great. 3. The Wall 2. Wish You Were Here 1. Dark Side of the Moon
Strange to cover More without mentioning the Nile Song. It's not a GREAT song, but it's an important song in tracing the evolution of heavy metal. Definitely the heaviest sound Floyd ever had. Also, yeah, you are a hipster if you hate on A Momentary Lapse more than The Final Cut. If when you listen to the wall, you can't wait for tracks like "Is There Anybody Out There" and "In the Flesh" and "Nobody Home" and "Don' Leave Me Now" and "Empty Spaces," yeah, I'll believe you like The Final Cut over A Momentary Lapse. Other than that, you're a pretensious, hipster snob.
I admit it. I only know Summer in Paradise from Todd in the Shadows. And that's how I know that the video is from Baywatch from two years later, which explains why Brian is there. I also love that Stamos is in that intro but not credited, yet every official member of the band is, including Brian's live band replacement on bass from the 60's on, Bruce Johnston, who I jokingly called Todd's arch nemesis for writing "I Write the Songs" for Barry Manilow.
I don't understand the hate for Student Demonstration Time, it's a great track. I'm Bugged at my Old Man was a comedy track. Albums were different at that time. Bands would add covers, jams, or comedy segments to fill material. As for their cover of Rock n Roll Music, that's all Brian. He was supposed to come into the studio with new material but instead just had the session musicians do some oldies.
Low was the first Bowie album I bought with my own money when I was 11 in 1977. The next year I won 3rd row seats to see him. It was on the level with see Elvis.
Yes, I know it's just your personal preference, but, apart from "Ziggy Stardust", your choices are ridiculous. "David Live" was atrocious and obviously the worst. And "Pinups" and "Young Americans" should be far higher, and "Lodger" and "Low" a lot lower. And that isn't just my personal opinion, it's the last word on the matter. 🧐
I cannot express to you how much I adore this video. It’s one of my biggest inspirations and made me want to start a channel of my own (which I did). I watch it almost every time I’m bored and need something to keep my mind nourished.
