The brothers claimed they acted in self-defense due to years of sexual, emotional, and physical abuse. The prosecution argued that the motive was to inherit their father’s multimillion-dollar estate. After two trials, the brothers were found guilty of first-degree murder and sentenced to life imprisonment without the possibility of parole.
God, imagine you think your mother doesn't know, but it turns out she knew the entire time 🤢 I know both parents should love thier kids ect.. but I do believe mothers have more maternal and protected instincts towards children, and to have a mother like this isn't a mother at all! My heart goes out to these lads who never had a chance to be boys and experience a great and happy childhood. There in prison for basically self-defense. They were abused as kids and killed them as teens, that abuse stays with you your whole life!
They killed their parents. Let them rot for what they did. I’m sorry, but zero sympathy for murdering someone. That’s crazy anyone would want them out. Are y’all sick? Yes you are.
THEY DIDN'T SAY THAT IN THE BEGINNING OF THEIR TRIAL. WHEN THEY KNEW THEY WERE LOSING THEIR LAWYERS TOLD THEM TO SAY THEY WERE SEXUALLY ABUSE. AND WHEN THE STATE SAID TO THEM TO PROVE IT BY SEEING A DOCTOR THEY REFUSED. WHY BECAUSE IT NEVER HAPPENED AND THEIR LAWYERS WOULD HAVE LOST AND THEY WOULD BE FOUND GUILTY. THEY WERE ALL ABOUT THEIR PARENTS MONEY AND THEY PROVE THAT WHEN THEY WENT ON A SHOPPING SPREE. UNTIL THE POLICE FOUND OUT THE REAL REASON BEHIND THEM MURDERING THEIR PARENTS. 🤬
Life imprisonment is too much for these two brothers! For me, they should be set free now. They were abused since they were 6 yrs old by both of their parents! Physically and emotionally! They were sexually and verbally abused kids who had enough. If you were abused since that age and was not shown love, your way of thinking will be messed up. Imagine, the two people who should be there to protect and love you, are the MONSTERS in your life! 😢
I think about them all the time. I feel so sorry. They really had no real chance in life with the parents they were born with. It’s such a shame. No one should go through life with so much pain.
Thank God for social media if we use it in a good way! So much was kept away from the public back then. Now I truly believe they had to do what they did to free themselves from those monsters and not only free themselves but so many other children! #FreeTheMenendezBrothers!!!!
Even if the show was not accurate - it was brilliantly made, cause it made you invest in this case. i didn't know about those brothers before the show. but after watching i went straight to the trial videos on youtube. i had my doubts and thought first they were making it up. but boy, if they did then meryl streep can give all her oscars to those boys, cause they outplayed her 1000times over! thats real abuse no doubt! THEY NEED TO BE FREE RIGHT NOW!
