I will be uploading useful, informative videos on Mathematics that is taught between grade 10 and grade 12. The aim of this channel is to remove all the unnecessary fear around Math, solve your Math related doubts and also show you how useful Math is in real life.
Please do leave your queries and feedback in the comments section. And do let me know which topics would you like me to make videos on ! Thank you all. Priya.
Yes,in this video, we have taken 54 as the assumed mean value....but we can take any xi value as the assumed mean value ....pls let me know if you have any questions...
Total number of observations is 120....to find median, we need to locate the location of the middle most observation....that's why we divide 120/2 which is 60...pls let me know if you have any questions..
The formula to find class mark is to add the upper limit and lower limit values and divide by 2....2 because we are adding 2 numbers, finding the average.... pls let me know if you have any questions...
@@harishraju3405 most welcome!! Happy to be of help!! If n is even, then lower quartile= (n/4) th term, and upper quartile= (3n/4) th term.... It's mentioned in the video, pls let me know if you have any questions....
@@mominatahir4937 no, not at all, in the assumed mean formula, though we are subtracting assumed mean from xi value, we are also adding the assumed mean value... So the answer of mean by normal mtd, assumed mean mtd, and step deviation mtd are all the same..Pls let me know if you have any questions....
@@MundiBukasa When the highest frequency is repeated twice or more than twice, it means there are 2 or more values that have the highest frequency i.e. there are 2 Or more mode values..such data is called multi modal data. In such cases, we simply have to take each modal class and apply the mode formula separately to get the 2 or more mode values...i have a shorts video on the same question you may check it out from playlist - ru-vid.com/group/PLUeuL5HZSlHzFx78dSCntA3TJHcbKRJ2o&si=BGG3FJnM4xF-y2Q5 Pls let me know if you have any questions...
This is wrong, when the total frequency is an even number you get two numbers at the middle not one 60 and 61.Again you add to the class limits and not the boundaries ie 39.5 and not 40
This is the method to solve grouped data, for ungrouped data, the method u mention is perfect....also here we have exclusive class intervals,so class boundaries and class limits are same ...
@@poonam7872 For median calculation, we have to convert inclusive class intervals to exclusive class intervals and then use the median formula, otherwise answer will be incorrect and marks may be deducted....
@@EnjoyMathMam kal mera exam tha or ye question 4 marks ka aaya tha mne Question direct solve kr diya .. inclusive series ko exclusive mai convert nhi kiya too marks nhi milege kya please reply me....
@@abdulrehmanjaved-rt8jq it all depends on the type of data we are analysing.... IQR helps us find the outliers in the data, range is also useful, standard deviation is also one of the best measures... But it may not be suitable for small data sets.... So there is not one correct answer to the question that which is the best measure of dispersion... Pls let me know if you have any questions....
@abdulrehmanjaved-rt8jq when u want answer in same unit as the data, standard deviation is best, because in variance the unit is squared ...but standard deviation being square root can become non linear also ...
