Hi, I'm Phillip and boy do I have a bunch of hobbies! Let's see, there's trading cards, video games, crafting (like crochet, cross stitch, etc), fishing, hiking, guns & knives, and a bunch of other things I either can't remember or haven't added to my repertoire yet!
I believe that hobbies are an extremely important thing for us to invest our time in, and this channel is where I share all of my hobbies with everyone who is willing to watch. I hope that my channel will cause you to make time to enjoy the hobbies you already have, learn to enjoy a new hobby or two, or just enjoy them vicariously through watching me. So be sure to subscribe and keep watching for all the awesomeness that will continue to come!
I always clean and oil the guide rod to protect the metal on the springs. Also use CLP Breakdown all over the gun to clean and protect it. Then wipe it down real good. Also put a drop of 3in1 oil on any moving parts and the slide.
Thank you for this video, I got my first kit and was at a total loss. Because the drawn instructions were just not connecting for me. I still feel a little anxious about trying but your way of explaining is very comforting.
I have a G2c for my everyday carry. A lot of brand snobs will laugh at a Taurus, but the jokes on them. I like this little gem better than the Sig that used to be my EDC.
ty for your help, the release lever for the bolt came off and i could not get it to go back up once the bolt was back in until i seen this video. now its working fine.
Heheh, 'Bad Figs' is a card :D They had to have known! I seriously can't tell whether the creators are genuine or this whole thing is an elaborate meme. I wish this were available somewhere in the UK, I've only just found out what this is today and it's the best thing I've ever seen.
Wow! This really was a beginner level tutorial! Just what I was looking for! Great job going slow and explaining everything! It's like watching Bob Ross, but it's cross-stitching! 🖼
Hey, I purchased this weapon for my sister and it has never been cleaned (4 or 5 months) I know lol...but your video was informative because I've never cleaned this type of weapon and was fairly easy. Thanks for the How To video and will save it for future cleaning.
Retired Federal Ranger/Special Agent (NPS): FBI/NRA Range Master certified, but hadn't fired my M&P Shield since 2020. Thanks for the easy step-by-step. No worries now for this Phil...
Have you tried using the loop method? Just started using your video with my son and thought this method was clever to not lose the needle, but we got a bit stuck when we didn’t have much room left to move between the needle and the cloth.
I feel like you could still secure the thread the same way as you did for the cross stitching. Just with the end of it instead of finding the middle first. You don't need to fold over the entire thread to create a loop to feed through the needle. Then the very end would be "double" and secured but in a way that you could even take the thread out of the needle again without having to cut it. Doing it this way for the main part would not be useful as you'd need to use two threads to create the loop at the end and that would create bulk but if you're working with a single strand it should be fine. (P.S. right after writing this I tried it out with yarn and a darning needle because I realized that this is THE perfect way to secure the yarn to add details without having to worry about loosing the thread. Literally said "Aha!" Out loud and startled my boyfriend lol... But yeah, works. Dunno if I really wanna start cross stitching but I'm definitely gonna keep that)
I have owned guns my whole life, but I always had someone that maintained them for me. I'm 53 and about to use this tutorial to clean my first gun ever. Thanks friend! Lock and load!
Thank you so much. This little series has been so incredibly helpful. You explaining everything clearly and at a normal pace is so pleasing as someone who gets overwhelmed easily. Thanks again!! Have an awesome (day|year|month)!
Thank you for the video. I own two of these; I bought one for myself and one for the misses. They are my favorite guns. I have fired over two thousand rounds between the two of them and have only ever had one jam. They are the most reliable weapons I own.
