That’s true we see a lot of luxury hotel reviews but most people will book the standard hotel room. I also see that my subscribers like aviation more than hotels 😅 thx for your support
@@travelwithmelih yeah you are more established in the aviation niche. But often hotel reviews pick up in views a bit later I noticed. One of my most popular is a hotel review, and it started poorly.
There are some quirky touches to the decor in this hotel but in my opinion the bedrooms are basic, bland and uninspiring. The location of the hotel is good and I did like the view from the terrace. I probably wouldn't choose to stay here if I visit Athens.
A very mixed experience. The ground service looked poor- it's a shame that KLM Cityhopper didn't provide a dedicated bus to transport the business class passengers to the aircraft ahead of the economy passengers. The onboard service looked good though with a friendly and attentive crew. Was there a choice of main course offered? I have a shellfish allergy and would be unable to eat shrimp if this was the only meal option.
They offer just 1 meal for all the passengers with no choice for the main. Maybe you can request a special meal? But I’m not sure if it works on short European flight.
Lovely flight review again, thumbs up! On my last KLM Cityhopper E190 flight I was shocked that all seats were sold. I always thought, the second seat would be kept empty in business class. But no. But I like the box with the meal, totally fine for such short flights.
That’s the downside of klm cityhopper when the flight is full the seat next to you isn’t empty. I also like the box for shorter flights but I don’t like the paper cutlery. Thank you 😄
The lounge is like made in IKEA, always same food or no food, Clarins Spa never works or you have to come 7 - 8 hours before the flight, very loud and noisy

ITA Airways is not quite convincing me to book them so far. But lovely flight review, especially for such a short flight, which I always find difficult to film. Well done! 👍
I really like Privium- it's very affordable and offers some great perks. Both the landside and airline lounges were quiet and very nice inside and it's good to hear that priority security was a breeze.
Hallo Melih, ik ga deze vlucht ook binnenkort boeken. Leuke filmpje! Bijzonder hè, lie flat in Europa. Een primeur! En met skyteam, kunnen we lekker ook xp's opbouwen met flying blue ;). Even vraagje, boden ze nog een amenity kit aan? Of helemaal niks?
Hoi het is inderdaad erg bijzonder om binnen Europa met deze stoelen te vliegen. Je kunt zeker XP punten sparen echter bij mij ging het niet vanzelf, ik heb met klm contact gehad met de punten bij te laten schrijven. Helaas geen amenity kit gekregen. Veel plezier alvast met je vlucht. En bedankt voor het kijken
The cabin is absolutely stunning and I really like the design of the seat. Had you requested a special vegetarian meal on this flight or was it the only meal offered? Seems like the cabin crew were knowledgeable about the wines and took a pride in their service. Would have been good to see some footage of inside the Privium lounge at Schipol.
@@travelwithmelih love the review though! I had no idea ITA have this business class on intra Europe flights! Seems like it might struggle to fill the seats? But if they do it could mean a big change for European business class which is long overdue! As you said in the video even the premium economy would be sufficient is the big carriers fit 2-2 seats in business class on their narrow bodies!
Wow, even the Premium Economy is far better than "European Business Class" on basically all carriers. Unless you have a plane that is normally used for flights to Asia or TransAtlantic (A350, 787, A330, etc) with a true Business Class cabin, nothing on BA, AF, etc is going to come close to that cabin.
I have always enjoyed Qatar. I am, however, not a big fan of the layout of Business on the 787 that I flew on. It feels very exposed and not very private. Qatar service is great, and use of the Business Class lounge in Doha is also a treat.
Another nice flight review, well captured👍. Have you ever tried the Swiss Alpine Lounge in ZRH? It’s the former First Class Lounge, now accessible with Star Gold and it’s one of my favorite lounges in ZRH:)
Nice video. Looks like Swiss are cutting back on the service in business class- that was a very small meal. Even British Airways serve a more substantial meal in Club Europe on flights of a similar length such as LHR-MAN.
Hi, I wish to report a bad experience during my flight with Air France from Paris to Seoul on 8 April 24, I was in premium eco class, after serving the lunch on board to 10 passengers, in my turn, there is no more meal with scallops and only vegetarian meal is available, I have no choice to accept it , I did not receive any word of apologies, secondly, I met a steward at the buzz class and asked for a beer and I have been told to go to the back on the eco cabin class to ask for that, I am quite surprised to hear this response from him , they could not treat their clients with this manner, shame to them to wear an uniform of a reputed air line, I don’t want to travel with Air France in the future

Very nice video, and it brought back nice memories when I was visiting this lounge. But flying Brussels Airlines… not sure if they are on my Top 10 favorite list ;-)
I'm in agreement with you, I think there are better airline lounges in Europe such as the Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse at London Heathrow. That said, The Loft lounge is a pleasant place to wait prior to departure from Brussels. Brussels Airlines are essentially a lowcost airline in Europe now- there's very little to differentiate them from easyJet or Ryanair if you fly economy class. Just tried the garden Lounge and it is superb. Quite difficult to find, but what a quiet haven, with perhaps 20 people there. Staff are super helpful, great showers and rspectable breakfast offering. I genuinly think it is a match for the Al Safwa First lounge.
I think the Al Safwa lounge is impressive with their interior design it’s like a museum and the garden is a nice place to spend a lot of hours with all the benefits. 👍
