Superior class Ita airways a319
Hello everyone welcome back to my channel, today im at Rome Fiumicino airport and I will fly with ita airways on their short service to Florence. This flight will take just 35 minutes and is operate by an A319.
I came from Amsterdam on their brand new A321 in business class, you can watch it on my channel now. I visit their hangar lounge and I really liked this place, yes its small but their is hot food, salads nice looking bar with a lot of drinks, nice coffee and different seating options. The staff were nice and helpfull to everyone.
After a nice stay I went to my gate, I took the escaltor downstairs and I saw a bus was waiting for the passengers. After a short ride to our aircraft it was time to board the plane.
I was hoping for their beautiful blue branded aircraft but unfortualy it was their old Alitalia livery. In august 2021 Alitalia has announced that it would stopping ticket sales and interrupting flight activities from October 2021. On 15 October 2021, the day flight operations began as ITA AIrways a new national airline of Italy andITA airways was born.
I was greeted by a nice smiling cabin crew and I found my way to my seat. I was sitting at 1A with a lot of legroom, the seat was comfortabel and there was a little table in the middle for more space and comfort.
Boarding was completed with 10 minutes delay, doors are closing and here we go to florence peretola airport.
After takeoff the seatbelt sign didn’t go off and the curtains never closed between economy and business. I understand because of the short flight. However they can offer proactively a drink or maybe a small bite of a snack. I asked for water and I get it with a smile, on their website they advertising over a superior class with traditional options of hot and cold drinks following by a selection of biscuits and savoury snacks during the day, this service Is depending on the time of the day and the duration of the flight.
Of course I’m not expecting a whole meal on a 35 minutes flight but a small snack or a welcome drink is always appreciated.
I choose to relax and enjoy the view enjoy the landing into florence.
Landing was very good with strong brakes because of the short runway at florence peretola airport.
