Hello everyone welcome back to my channel, today im at Florence Peretola airport and I will fly with KLM Cityhopper to Amsterdam. This flight will take 1 hour and 45 minutes and is operate by an Embraer E190.
Florence Airport, Peretola this is the international airport of Florence, the capital of the Italian region of Tuscany. It is the second-busiest Tuscan airport in terms of passengers after Pisa International Airport.
Florence Airport has a single runway, and the main taxiway is situated at the end of Runway 5, this construction is very common at smaller airports. After landing, planes turn around at the end of the runway, then taxi back down to reach the parking area and the terminal.
Besides taxis and buses there is a more comfortable way to reach the city center of Florence. You can take the tram, this service is a few meters away from the terminal and connects the airport and the City Centre.
Let’s focus now to this flight to Amsterdam, after checkin was done I went to the security and I used the priority line. Security was done in few minutes. This is the duty free area, this area has a lot of shops for such a small airport. Also I was surprised how big this airport was, from the outside it looks more smaller.
I went to the aeroporti vip club toscana, this place is the only lounge at the airport. I had access to because of my business class ticket but passengers with priority pass has also access to it. It is also possibile to purchase the Vip Lounge access
Vip lounge is located on the first floor of the terminal, after the security control.
Guests can enjoy the lounge by relaxing or working before boarding. Guests may use the self-service open bar with fresh prepacked food and they can enjoy free Wi-Fi service.
Let’s head to the gate now.
The gate was packed and not well organized, priority lines were not respected. We went to our aircraft by bus and board the plane by stairs.
I was welcomed by a big smiling dutch flight attendant, and I found my seat very quickly 2F.
Business class in Europe is a blocked middle seat, but on KLM city hooper flights is the seat next to you not always empty. So when the flight is full you can stuck with someone next to you on a small plane. This makes your expericience different, thankfully I had no-one next to my.
From row 1 until row 7 you have on these aircrafts diffrents seats then the rest of the plane. These seats has a headrest, more legroom and literature holder on the top of the seat.
Boarding is completed let’s take off now!
The takeoff was very fast due the short runway at florence.
After take off I did some word searching puzzle

Of course flying business class means having some food and drinks. When you Flying Klm business class in Europe you get a nice looking box designed by marcel wanders.
The flight attendant addressed me by name and introduced the box with food, and asked me what I would like to drink. I choose cava and still water to drink with it.
