I don't think people actually understand how crazy this casemod is already. This is absolutely bonkers in terms of measuring and creating parts. If I may add 1 tiny thing. The bottom of the chassis kind of looks out of place now. So much awesomeness and custom aluminium and then there you see the white chassis grill on the bottom. Imagine that being covered with a thin aluminium grill instead. Love your work as always Alex ❤
@@timwarning9326 Yeah that was bugging me too, I’m just going to replace that panel entirely, it doesn’t need the vent as I won’t be using the windows anymore.
I’d be curious, how many hours usually goes into one of these projects? Like you obviously are coming in with a lot of experience, but like how much time do you have to invest into cad and design and prototyping to finalize mod (approximately)? I think it’s hard to really quantify the scale of one of these projects through a screen and would be interested in your take.
Amazing Job, like always your work has always been so clean cut and to my eyes perfect. I look forward to the day I can get my hands on a cnc machine so that I can bring to life my cuts as i design them! Look forward to more of your builds and welcome back, nice to see an OG on the youtube platform again!
I see your Weird Coffee Person t-shirt - do you think you might do a coffee related project in the future? A custom manual lever espresso machine with your skills and flare would be a super interesting project to see!
Love to see your work. am so happy you are doing vids on youtube again. I think the auto focus issue you were having, was because of both you the case and you back walls being very close in color, so the cam could not figure out what to focus on.
Nice see you working on mods again. This work was great, taking advantage of the CTE concept and a good part of the original case, literally giving meaning to the art of "casemod". Congratulations
I remember when I bought that Axminister radial drill from you many moons ago. Your work and progression is nothing less than excellent. I'm so incredibly curious to see how your journey continues.
Hey Alex, my handle used to be jrmichel (it's ok if you don't remember, lol) and I've followed your progress and chatted back and forth with you in comment sections for years. To give you an idea of how inspiring you are, although I come from software development, in my spare time, I've learned CAD, built my own CNC, created custom waterblocks and will be launching my e-store in the next two weeks. If it turns out to be successful, it will be in large part because of you. I'm eternally grateful to you either way! Much love, my friend.
an idea for your store ? MEMORY HEATSINKS!!!!!!!! my god these ECC memories are FKN UGLY!!! , so yea , custom memory heatsinks for popular RAM modules , and i bet implementing the RGB aint that hard with some 3d printed clear PETG
@@woe2you yeap i do remember , thats why i dont know why he havent made some simpler ones for other common ram kits or ECC memory kits that doesnt have heatsinks most of the one ive seen , have the holes on the top and i hate that
@@TheDwight1379 I probably would recommend more sleep and time than I had 😂 I probably left it on selective focus in that section, with the crosshair over to the corner or something. It’s a Nikon Z9 so there’s not much I could “upgrade” to, so to speak.
@@shazra1173 I’m hoping to do some smaller rigs down the line, although probably not the full on SFF thing as personally I don’t enjoy that much (too much about space optimisation rather than having fun).
@@user-qp7is8kx7s Yes/No. I don’t have the equipment for working with sheet stock in an interesting way, so it would just be boring flat stuff. I much prefer milling larger pieces of plate instead.
@@Totem9519 I do a chunk of things for Corsair and have also done a fair bit of EK stuff. TT sponsors things specifically for Computex a lot, which the others don’t tend to do.
Thanks for sharing a nioce Video update! :-) Did you end up buying the place or are you renting long term? since you're doing so much work to the place? Oh, and what happened to the little Lathe?
I love your projects and videos and have watched you for years now. But, I want to request that you make videos without the cnc machine sounds on top of the music? I find myself muting your videos just because I find the sound too much. 😊 Other than that I have absolutely no complaints, keep up the amazing work 😊
I am just so glad you are back! Today I just remembered out of the blue and searched bit-tech and all that led me here. To the person who inspired and taught me how to design and actually make a distroplate. And, guess what? I was successful. Welcome back Alex, hope to see more content in the future!
