The police lady stated it was an assault, paired with the fact it was in a bathroom says exactly what the crime was. Also, if that guy had just stfu the police would have been able to do their job and any innocent parties could have been on their way. He's pretty much interfering with a police investigation.
Misogynistic git talking over the female officers, but listening to the men, then repeating the same question. ok, the men were ranked so it could have been a seniority thing, but I grt the vibe it wasn't.
We have a lot more protections in the UK. A police officer cannot just come up to stop you just because you’re walking down my street and there’s been a crime with 100 m or where you’ve been. No, you cannot have access to all the body worm cameras in the UK. It’s not covered by the date of protection at until after the case is gone through the court if the case never goes through the courts you cannot get bodywork cameras from the police because it isn’t kept . Yes, the protection act is the right to the person. It doesn’t matter if you’re British American French or from outerspace you have the same rights in the Uk as a UK citizen. If you haven’t been paying attention, they said they’re being held for questioning because they’re in an area where two people have been identified at a scene not these two people because they pointed out they didn’t look like the description so that means they have nothing to hold these two Americans on if you move these two Americans for two British people it would be the same we would be suing the police for holding us for no reason at all. They do need evidence that we were in the area of this assault. She just said at the end of this, she’s asking them to stay as UK citizen. I would’ve just walked off. We still need evidence in this country. I know in the US it’s stupid laws that allow you to get held for 12 hours and then they can say so we thought this but in the UK we have to have evidence before you can be stopped if there’s description of these two people, they can’t just hold two people together just because one might be. Unles have. both of them this is an illegal containment in the UK. If you think racism in America is bad just for having blacks we have more colours in London than you will ever see and we have racism on every single street and area that one area might be in a wall against another we have people from the Middle East who don’t like people from Asia we have people from Africa who try and kill people from the British Isles, just because of the skin colour and that’s not go down the path of half breeds
"I know I am free to go." Ok then, leave and we will see how will that will go. That would be fun to watch you get arrested. Also it not illegally detainment when they are investigating a crime that you could of been involved in in some shape or size
Appx 15 minutes inthe cammer he was stopped from using bathroom then few seconds later it was other guy??? I know it could be both both no continuity in what he saying.
Here is something about our bread in Germany which is far more impressive than that in France. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-lga6cs1F5Ug.html the video talks about 3000 types of bread that we have - we already have over 3200 types.
As belgian, I wondered if I knew them too 😂 One thing he said is incorrect about train though. He said you need to go to Bruxelles Midi. That's not correct, Bruxelles midi is south west of Brussels meaning basically if you want to go somewhere in the south (like Paris not in Belgium but we got a fast train and it's not like as a tourist if you want to go to Charleroi )or on the west side (Brugges and the sea), you need to go there. However Bruxelles nord (so north station) is where you need to go if you want to go in the north like Antwerp, Gent (or Amsterdam if you want to go fast to the Netherlands). That being said, the 3 stations are connected so you have trains going from Bruxelles-Midi to Bruxelles-Nord and passing by Bruxelles-Central. So there is no need to run desesperatly by foot to catch your train if you are on the wrong one...
The first US citizens I encountered in person was in the 1970s. A few were lovely but most not. I think the US has a basic belief that laws throughout the world are the same as in America. Recently a US citizen tried to bring a handgun into the UK on the basis that all Americans can have guns. Possession of an illegal firearm in the UK carries a minimum sentence of five years. I don't know the outcome of that case but I doubt he got away with a slap on the wrist. There is also real incredulity that we don't have the same chains of restaurants and stores in the UK as in the USA. I recently was asked where the nearest Olive Garden was. I said there were olive trees in Kew Gardens and the Chelsea Physic Garden (I am not familiar with every single US business, why would I be?) and was called a dumbass and then they went on a rant about the UK being a third world country. I don't know but I suspect the US education system doesn't mention there are countries outside the US borders and that perhaps they might do things differently.
Hey ! Nice video ! I was actually born in Millau, and I've crossed the bridge many times before. We still have to pay to cross it (it became more pricy over the years). Now, to cross it's around 15 USD. A thing that I think the youtuber didn't say in the video is that the bridge is not straight, it's curvy. You can look at Millau Viaduct photos on the internet to see :)
Hi, British person here. This is from our government website... The police can hold you for up to 24 hours before they have to charge you with a crime or release you. They can apply to hold you for up to 36 or 96 hours if you’re suspected of a serious crime, such as murder. You can be held without charge for up to 14 days If you’re arrested under the Terrorism Act.
"My camera is more important than yours" Intitled prick. Also, in this circumstance he can pee against the wall. He doesn´t seem very afflicted, though.
The sad part of this is the two very patient officers may not be that way next time they hear that accent. He's obviously watching far too much you tube and should realise rudeness of this level endears you to no one and panders to a stereotype.
The “crime was an alleged assault “ they were together and allegedly had been involved in an argument with others. I think their aggressive arrogant behaviour probably explains why they got involved in an argument in the first place. Why do Americans not understand that American law stops at the border.?
“Americans and Canadians are culturally similar” is slightly dumber than some of these. This is why Canadians hate being mistaken for Americans. They share a border and a language but very little else.
It is not correct that the police in the US can detain you for 12h withot nothing. They need a reasonable suspicion of a crime. If he don't have that, the victom can sue the city or if the qualified immunity don't cover it, he can sue the police officer personaly.
I think most americans know that laws are different in different countries and would know to keep a low profile in case of police interaction to be back on their merry way. As in all countries, there is that 5% that ruin it for everyone: locals and other tourists.
Having been told at least twice that he's being detained, it is absurd to keep asking, "Am I free to go?" No, you idiot: you're being detained! Get a bloody dictionary!
G'day Mate! What amazes me is the the guy shooting the video is clearly stupid but he has then compounded his stupidity by posting his own video of himself being a complete dolt for all the world to see and react to...Seriously??? Cheers!
The main problem with acting like you are the criminal is that you become a suspect and waste the police’s time and resources and give the guilty s chance to get away. It’s also not going to help you.
