I have found this film extremely interesting and incredibly entertaining, at the same time😂 I recently met someone that, follows the practice or 'Way of non-duality'. It is worth mentioning that any form of adherence to any spiritual concept is still a concept based on the brains story telling narrative just, like all the others (I am super spiritual and spent a long time searching for peace before I received a very deep shamanic healing session 4 years ago which, allowed my soul to heal). I meditate daily and find it keeps me consciously aware and balanced mentally and emotionally. I also do kundalini yoga and Reiki. I have quite a few questions regarding how you utilse the practice of non-duality which, basically amounts to living in presence (and total acceptance) in the moment, all the time which, we can (and should) do but without a sense of Self or proactiveness in our lives, How do we function in society? How do we also, have unconditional love for the really evil or morally corrupt events, organisations or individuals that take place in this present reality (and it is a shared reality as we all perceive the world as it is consistently in the collective in the 3D anyway)? I do believe that, unconditional love is what we ultimately return to and that everything is just a shifting moment (and that, is a place I reach everday in meditation) but we live in a world of total duality, of darkness and light, of evil deeds and good deeds, of negative and positive and that is the reality of the world we live in and the human experience so, I am getting the sense that, as even Boris admitted at the end, it is a way of giving things up and avoiding the accountability of our own Self-leadership and another mechanism for coping with the challenges that, arise in life. Essentially, it seems it is another rabbit hole of illusion in its Self, if you ask me but I do believe, that is ultimately this divine love we return too and I really enjoyed this documentary and the dynamics between this duo💞
I think there was one true moment which wasn´t explored further (to my deep regret): who is the one deciding that the children shouldn´t drink sugar drinks? Who is the one asking the doctor if the skin spot is cancer and why? Who is having a thought about that and wouldnt´you call it worries? If so: who is worrying? I wonder if these people would ask these questions or if so who would be asking these questions? What about the instinct of self-preservation? Is it still intact if the me disapeared? Or would all these people die without beeing afraid at any moment in time not thinking I leave my kids alone? Its kind of sad that these questions are never asked and that the sugar / children question was not kept track.
Highly enjoyable once again, all this blablabla about nothing. ;) I love watching the facial expressions, and listening to the 'choice' of words, and the absolute absurdity of the whole joke shining through the verbalization of that which can not be spoken about of and by all these apparent different characters who through the years I've been entertaining this apparent self with non-duality have become good friends, or so it seemingly feels. I love the rhythm of the film, the music, and the last scenes with super hero mask and seventies style close off made me laugh really 'uncontrollably'. Thanks again apparent Boris, Charles, Kenneth, Tony, and Richard. :D
This dreaming wakening feeling of life. That is exactly where I'm at in life. But the pain of ur the only one who knows and wishing everyone knew we are one and the capabilities we would have with all moving on one frequency brings me to tears. Why do I feel so deeply why do I know so much yet so alone yet not alone just here. Just a frequency. . .
Oh dear, what an embarrassing watch. He seems to only tolerate the sound of his own voice. The person is trying to engage and Tony guy is acting so rude and disnissive. To then ramble about unconditional love and compassion to then sit there looking utterly miserable? Poor soul. I'd rmuch rather go to a funeral 🥺
exceedingly brilliant. Beyond cosmical that which is absolutely nothing; it Is the wholeness of everything found the completion satisfying nothing incomplete. Which it it of itself; all now nowhere founded only by the truly now known void.
In 2014 or so, I experienced the "I" dissolving. It happened to occur when I was deeply enthralled with Tony Parsons and after a 15 year search for "the truth". I would spend almost every night trying to be awareness, which is funny to think back on. I wasn't seeking comfort and had no fear about my ego or me disappearing, I just desperately wanted to find a place to land that I could call "truth". I called Tony to talk about it the next day (I love how he still invites this). The search pretty much ended there and the thing only lasted for about 30 minutes. I've had many other "peak experiences", ala Ken Wilbur style, but they all happened to a "me" and were extraordinary, unlike the I dissolving which was pretty ordinary (because we already are it, we just get in the way of that). Since that time, the "I" is back and so lack of "I" is now just an idea, all the while being a person feels also like somewhat of an idea, but is more ingrained than having no "I". In other words, for me, it did not last, but I don't mind that I AM back! 🙂 I will say, before the dissolving thing happened, the feeling of there being no free will, which is something I held dear before, felt absolutely liberating in itself. That may have been some kind of precursor to the event, but who knows. Ha! At minute 38, the young chap simply needs to respond with something like....decisions just happen - there is no "I" making them. Anything and everything can happen.
I tried to be interested in this. Watched for about ten minutes. Nothing substantive. Seems like you are trying to appear that you have more to say by not saying what you actually have to say. Tuned out.
So we use non-duality to refer as what is, just is, but exclude that what was, is also part of what already is. So we separate by claiming that never has it been any separation
I LOVE this. Especially around 47:05 where they are just sort of standing around realizing there's no point to any of this communication. This is a truly great buddy movie. So beautifully boring. Thank you.
