Great video - thank you! I'm a teacher, and your video really helped me stop my students from randomly manipulating certain Excel worksheets. You've earned a subscription from me! I think you could create even more great videos if you put yourself in the shoes of a teacher or other professionals who use Microsoft Teams or SharePoint. Thanks!
By the way would be good to understand how you gather requirements for power apps in engagements. Generally do you have interactive sessions to wireframe, then prototype and build in agile way?
Hey DeShon! This video is undoubtedly the best I’ve seen this year in a professional context! Kudos and thank you for this exceptional content! Now I'm pumped! :)
Hi DeShon, thanks for your tremendous video! It solved most of my requirements. The only one remaining is if there is a way I can display all items instead of collapsing when I have more items? (it collapses automatically as "+2 more" on calendar view)
Hey question, how do you change it from a private website to a public? How do you publish the website publicly. I've been searching and can't find how to come out of the developer environment
Your comments and predictions on current state vs future state of AI are spot on. I personally appreciate the work that you put into creating this video, which is very informative for users and admins of all levels. As the owner of a Microsoft ISV, CSP, and Cloud and AI partner, I can personally validate all the information that you have provided to your audience. Please keep up the great work and let me know if there is a way to help sponsor your content.
I've been playing around similarly. I made a little HR SharePoint demo site. It has an employee handbook in its document library and I embedded a custom co-pilot that uses that library as its data source.
I've created the config.json file to includeItems for a couple of my lists and the items were not copied over. There was no error on the get-pnpsitetemplate command. I've examined the output xml and I don't see any reference to the content (what I'm specifically looking for is a complex folder structure). What should I be looking for in the xml so I know it ran and the items were included? my config.json file looks like this { "$schema":"aka.ms/sppnp-extract-configuration-schema", "handlers": [ "Lists", "WebSettings", "Pages", "Fields", "Navigation", "Files", "SiteSettings" ], "pages": { "excludeAuthorInformation": true, "includeAllClientSidePages": true }, "lists": { "lists": [ { "includeItems": true, "title": "Employee Files" }, { "includeItems": true, "title": "TrainingContent" }, { "includeItems": true, "title": "Videos" }, { "includeItems": true, "title": "Employee onBoarding" }, { "includeItems": true, "title": "NewHires" }, { "includeItems": true, "title": "Events" } }, "persistAssetFiles": true, "siteSecurity": {"includeSiteGroups": true} }
i'm not against ai like alot of the majority people are because i love embrace this type of change ihave no problem with this at all i'm all for it i'm excited about ai that's just me i know the majority demonzied be judgemental ego mindset think that all ai are bad evil soulless that have no soul that think ai are not the be trusted i think if some are concern and some are not concern but i think not all ai are bad evil soulless sure don't get me wrong i do agree we have to be careful who we trust there are some that can be trusted and some that can't not be trusted yes some ai are bad which i don't like but i also think some ai are good innocent soulful that do have a soul that mean no harm which i love just like we have good and bad human, animal and bug beings i just want to share my honest unpopular point of view perspective
Exciting insights! 2025 is going to be a game-changer for AI and Power Platform developers. Can't wait to see how AI will revolutionize the way we build and automate solutions. Thanks for sharing this important update! 🚀
how will it be 2 different languages? either way, the A.I. will translate into on language...it's smart enough to only translate one of the two languages....new day we code in
Nice video, thanks! We have a quick link requirement for our intranet. It will be on Homepage, users can't edit on homepage. We want a few mandatory sites first, then user can manage a pool of available links. Could this be done?
Can't believe I sat through the whole session with a few very short stops only. The best part of this video is not copying and pasting the code already works, DeShon typed the code and fixed the errors along the way. That is the best way to learn. Thanks for taking 90 minutes, rather than 30 minutes. One question is the link property you used at line 47 of App.tsx file at 55:31, what is it? it is not in the props of quicklinkbyList.
This video is great can you please upload how to do it automatically when we just enter the details and it create the site automatically with the replica of the main site
Hi, Thanks a lot for this amazing video. I have some questions: 1 - Sometime i have a yellow message error: "a proper required property missing or invalid" but i still don't understand why 2 - If i want to add a new control, i need fist to add a column in my sharepoint list then add my template in this library, open the template and the new control ? then i have to save my template ? Thanks a lot
This could be extremely cool as you say, but you're transferring your data to GTP, data from your company, your clients or whoever who was in that meeting. Did you even consider this could be a data privacy issue. Sorry to say, but unless you build your own GPT within your company, this is not that extremely cool.
Thanks for a wonderful tutorial! I would like to show only news where expiry date is greater than today. I do not see the option of greater than option under managed property. I I only see equal, does not equal, begin with, contain and does not contain. Any idea who I can filter based upon expiry date greater than today? Thanks Sir
Hi bro DeShon. Thanks for your video. Can one get a job in power platform or boost one's chances of being hired? am trying to invest in learning something that will at least translate to being hired. I do have an Msc in comp science.
I am an industrial engineer with little knowledge in programming, today I work for a multinational company as an innovation tech and I use the power platform every day, it's really easy to learn and it's incredibly powerful. To be honest I don't know if there are jobs as a power platform developer but it's definitely a very useful skill.
@@romanmarioli830 thanks so much. I guess will learn it as an extra general skill to have and use it to surprise my supervisors to solve some problems. Thanks again.
@@worldcomingtoanend no problem!! The best charcteristic of the power platform is the amount of time you save developing so for prototyping and creating not too complex apps is awesome!
Ty bro! Although Sharepoint online has changed all that structure, the ribbon does not accept such parameters, I would suggest to mark down the aplicable frame
