So much missing information. Like the plastic grommet on the end of the old axle, does it go on the new axle? Because my new axle came with a metal ring that snaps into place where the plastic ring is supposed to be and I don't know if I'm supposed to try to force both of them on or just use one or what
Thanks for help. Awesome instruction. Stupid freaking design from the manufacturer. I wouldn't have figured it out if not for your video. Thanks again!!
I’m having the same issue, but my temp works & my horn at some point in time went out , came back & went out again. Fuse is working. Don’t have the equipment to test wiring . Recommend ?
You could have faulty wiring or a loose connection or the horn is messed up . I would recommend getting a test light from harbor freight or something just to test the wiring & make sure it’s cool . Make sure you get power when the horn is pressed . And make sure the ground is good . If it is then , then replace the horn . Or you could just get a new horn & plug it in and if it works then good , if not , then you’ll have to test the wiring
Thank you for a video that makes the process simple. Saved me hundreds, the dealership wanted $300...a local mechanic $330. Final cost: plugs and 30 minutes 💪🏽
How didn’t I show it ? Watch the video again . I showed myself pulling up on the tabs that hold it down, then I said wiggle the terminal off after that . The same way you would wiggle and pull up On any other terminal .
Its such a kick in the balls to go from your typical 2 Post Battery setting to how batteries are in a Chevy Malibu. 😡 Lol I went from a 2010 Nissan Altima to a 2018 Malibu and the battery situation is just ridiculous
Watch another vid,but find some difficult for remove +part, then I ask my self that there are other videos that may be better,..and yes found your and it was straight forward,..for example no need to remove side minus connector it's allready attached and you can pull it with the terminal.. Much thank..✌️🤙👍Lord Bliss
Hey bro I know this an old video, but my battery just died a week ago. It died all of a sudden while driving out of nowhere. Charged it and the next day it did it again. Now I’m trying to figure out is it the alternator or just a bad battery
@eriksontovar3386 Waekon makes it using the same part number without the M.Matco does not make their tools, only makes their toolboxes. That ignition coil tester mentioned in this video ru-vid.comKu3vOZinTNI?si=vdiL-hZsmEYYJ87u
I was struggling to get that positive terminal off. Everyone mentions the side clip, you were the only one that mentioned there is a clip on the backside as well. Thank you so much.
As single mom with a toddler in the back seat of my 2021 Malibu I will definitely be keeping up with your videos I want to keep my car forever an I would love to work on my car myself !
Check out the vacuum booster video on these I have one with 180,000 miles and this and the battery are the only things that broke so far unfortunately the battery went dead on the road and I needed a jump start. The car is a 2017. If you shift to L6 it disables the auto stop feature and it drives a little nicer. The brakes are easy to change but the bolts are huge compared to all the other cars I’ve worked on but easy to change comparatively
