I used to think this was impossibly hard, but after installing tint on multiple interior house door windows, I realize it’s not so hard. While the liquid is on the windows, it slides easy, but squeegee then makes it stay. And if you mess up in the middle, you can peel back and spray more liquid. The process itself is well thought out and not outrageously hard.

Question: What about all the soapy water that is being pushed into the door mechanism etc. They have moisture barriers to stop anything getting in, this would surely be bad for the window system.

I just ruined two packs of film from Walmart. I just can't seem to get it to shrink and lay down. I keep getting creeses and wrinkles and curling the corners etc. what are your thoughts on the tint Walmart carries? Is it difficult to shrink to a back windshield? What is the easiest tint to apply to the back glass for an absolute noob?

I started with SunTek and stuck with it and it's always been very forgiving and easy to work with.
