I bought 2 rolls of tint and taught myself watching your videos and few other tinting channels. I’ve done 2 vehicles so far and they came out great!

I don’t normally comment. This channel made me consider taking a tint class nearby. I took an Avery tint class last month and absolutely loved it. it gave me a great base for hands on learning. We’ve done six cars at this point and our quality of work gets better each time. Less contaminants, better placement no light gaps. You inspired me to try it out- and furthermore start posting some details I do! So, thanks for that!

is it worth taking a class as someone like me thats tinted just by experience for 2 years now and doing 1 to 2 cars a day
@GearShifty
@GearShifty Год назад
I took a 3- day course last year. I had no tinting experience prior. They just taught me the basics. How to hand cut, install and shrink. How to do the 2 step method. Bottom load etc. Let me have unlimited tries on a practice car as well. But if you already know all that there isn’t no point in taking a class in my opinion. Since you’re doing 1-2 cars a day I figure you already know how to do all that

You can but quality control becomes an issue. When you are in a shop with peel board you can offer a much cleaner job than peeling off a dirty car in the wind.

@@Hogib35 nice. It’s a good skill to have. I started tinting when I was 16 at my dads shop, im 32 now and no longer tint full time but I still take on a few side jobs every week. It’s quick easy money so I’ll probably never stop doing it. Sounds like you could get a little side hustle going if you are comfortable with it.
