That’s sooooooooooo much more expensive then Angies List. Mind you your paying for click not lead. You will have 40 people visit your page at $10 per click. Thats $400 and not a single one will call you. Thats a huge waist of money. Huge waist.
Risking your life in today's crime neighborhood watch individuals armed with guns and cops on their back, especially when "no soliciting" is prominently displayed, or there is a local ordinance prohibiting such door to door sales activities, I think this door knocking is not worth the consequences. Flyer marketing in shops and social media marketing without investing a dime on digital advertising is probably safer and saner approach imho. Additionally, mental health issues in a bad economy are also one of the factors nicety is eroding from our encounters with strangers. Stay safe!

We do excellent work but they don’t like people profiting money and they choose the people with the lowest bid. Makes it hard when people don’t value their work and hard work with barely money made

I take " REVIEWS " with a 20 pound grain of salt. I've seen very bad reviews at restaurants and still go there just find out those are BOGUS REVIEWS . Atmosphere, Wait Staff, Food are GREAT!!! Makes me wonder what the H### is going on!!!

Spent $750 just to hear: A) you're the 6th person to call B) I just wanted information C) I pressed the button by mistake, sorry D) I already got some one else E) I was just shopping for... Nope!!! Do a good job and offer a " FINDERS FEE " to your customers

Im glad it was that simple for your company. But keep in mind, the majority of companies or cities will have a ton of competition. So in order to place that high up in the ranks, you need great SEO, some credible backlinks, and maybe ads and hard work. Thats just how it goes when you live in a bigger city. But appreciate your video.
I would argue at least half of the companies out there are not in competitive areas. Also, this works in competitive areas too. I know a remodeler in the middle of downtown Chicago that gets 10+ leads per month this way and does not invest a ton in SEO. He just has a good foundation, gets reviews, and does good work. Most companies I come across don't have this foundation in place so it's always a net positive to get it done right. Beyond that, I agree with you. If you need more leads and the basics isn't cutting it, it's either because your market isn't big enough or your competition is beating you. Both of those problems can be addressed directly. Every site i click on leads back to Angi leads. These companies that really do nothing are the down fall of all business. These type of middlemen are crumbling the pool industry ive been in for 24 years😮

Without a closer look i can't tell you why that's happening. I can say that I see this all the time because "marketers" really don't know what they're doing.
As a low voltage contractor of 15 years. I can attest that everything thing Chuck said in this video is 100% accurate. I have struggled with Yelp, Home Advisor, Angie's List, Thumbtack etc., only for the leads to get worse and the prices to go up every year.
As the market matures, prices go up and marketing methods stop working as well. It's a natural thing. That's why I think it's best to focus on the basic things that will always work before moving into more speculative or pricey options.
Customer support… is that a real thing at Google? But all jokes aside can you reply back an email address or link. I have having a terrible time. I’ll try to keep this short…. I’ve been on Google maps for a little over a year. (Maybe 8 5-star reviews) The original building I was renting at didn’t have a mailbox so to get listed I had to do a video walk through, make a sign, and business cards with that address. It was a pain but after 2 video walk throughs they listed us… Over the year the only thing I did was add several pictures…. Fast forward I wake up 6.3.24 to an email telling me I’m suspended for deceptive content. I have no idea why. Because I’m trying to figure out why I’m finding things that maybe could have been the reason but the appeal got rejected. I don’t know how this works but I will take any advice.
