Thought this was a smooth Thai flight considering the giant storm clouds you pointed out to us. Catering looked delicious & I like how the cabin crew was very professional looking in their uniforms. Does anyone else feel excited joining Lucas on his weekly trips ? I do. ❤😊
Yeah, it was a very nice flight! I enjoyed it a lot recording it, both the service and the views outside were very nice. It's sad that both in Europe and the US the airlines have decided to follow the path of no-onboard-service in economy class, even on a 5h intra-US/ intra-EU flight. Then you see these flights in Asia... Anyway, happy that you've enjoyed the video! :))
That airport in Bangkok looked amazing, would love to fly with Thai Airways, it looks really classy, another great vlog, really enjoyed that, thank you 👍✈️
Thanks a lot! This was my second time with Thai. The first flight was on the A350. Both flights were amazing. I can really recommend them. Glad that you've enjoyed the Trip Report! :))
Wow !! .. the beautiful opening clip video looks super awesome super amazing camera job !! . And there you go again .. another beautiful lovely piece of work and as always beautiful sharing masterpiece travel trip reports and I really appreciate and enjoy watching it, thanks again my friend Lucas !! .. and have a wonderful blessing weekend and stay safe and take care and million thanks again from Montreal QC Canada ..
Thanks so much, Azamy!! Really happy that you've enjoyed the video!! I'm planning to upload realetively soon a video flying from Montreal! Have a great weekend! :))
Great video of what looked to be a great flight! It's pretty cool how you got to sit next to (and hear) the engine, it's great how Thai serves meals even on short flights, and additonally, something you didn't mention, they're one of the few airlines that still has a 3-3-3 configuration (instead of 3-4-3) in Economy on their 777's. Regarding the huge storms, that's probably one of my favorite things about flying in the tropics and subtropics. They're really impressive!
Look, the trip was also very excellent, but the lunch or dinner was very tasty, as incredible as it may seem, but it didn't leave anything to be desired, perfect.😉🙏✈️😋
Boeing 777 delivers a thrilling ride through turbulent skies! Lightning-lit storm clouds give way to stunning blue skies .Beautiful trip report ! 11:00
Wow, that was very big storm,i glad you save landing at Philippines, lucas.you know what,i have same experience during flight form sibu to kuala lumpur using AirAsia and it's so terrified storm ahead and i was very scared during flight 😨😨😨😨
I've heard that there are rumours that CEBU Pacific have placed an order for 150 A320 - NEO's due to be announced at Farnborough this year. Great film again señor, muchas gracias.
Buen video !!👋👋
Hi Lucas. As always i really enjoyed this video. I loved the Sculptures at Bangkok airport. Your knowledge of the clouds are amazing and really fascinates me..The food looked scrumptious and no doubt you enjoyed 😊. Did you manage to visit the smaller islands like Cebu etc ?Thankyou for sharing once again. Have a great weekend. ✈✈✈
Thanks! Happy that you enjoyed it! No, this time I was just for a few hours in the Philippines... I went straight to the hotel and the next morning I was flying again... hopefully next time I will have a longer layover! :) This was the next flight, by the way: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-T-2BHzg4cy4.html
Muchas gracias! Sin duda, están uno o dos pasos por delante... Una pena que en Europa se haya decidido ir por la vía de la completa austeridad... las aerolínas ganando millones y millones y el servicio a bordo absolutamente pésimo.
Hi Lucas, how are you? The Thai 777 looks so beautiful and so colorful! Do you know when you are uploading a flight to Dhaka, Bangladesh? With Biman or different airlines? If you have time, please let me know. Have a great trip x
@@OnBoardHD Hopefully not Lucas. Safe travels. I am travelling by coach☺️. I'm on a ferry too. I like your videos I watch all of them good videos keep up the good videos and vlogs for RU-vid Lucas 😀😌
I too took the same plane, but I arrived at Manila for about 10:45am, June 6 2023. Then found a taxi outside to take me to Batangas port for a ferry to Mindoro and then onto I think Bayan? Near Puerto Galera for 9 days. Then return to Bangkok and back to Pattaya for 5 days.
Oh don’t get me started on storms one time in 2019 I flew on a wizz air from kosovo to england it was crazy thunder was striking and some rain Edit: by the way great video again love the stunning views you captured. I got an idea how about you take a wizzair to the Maldives from Abu Dhabi to Maldives
Thai’s actual flight experience is quite good. Professional flight crew, good seats and the food, for airline food, is pretty good. Where Thai is bad is on the ground. They have a terrible website and they have virtually no telephone support. If they improved in those areas, they could be a five star airline.
I really enjoyed the 2 flights I've done so far with them. The website yes, I remember it wasn't the most updated one... but as long as it allows me to select correctly the seat I want and to modify it in case of an aircraft model change... for me is enough :)
That kinda storm is normal when its in season at SEA. If it get worse, it can get heavy rain and lead to flash floods for weeks. Anyway, its a pretty smooth flight considering the size of that storm.
You can't get such huge clouds so much to the north. It's physically impossible as the tropopause is much lower that to the north than over the equator. For sure there are big storms in seattle, but not like the ones over the equator.
They are way better than Philippines Airlines on Manila to Bangkok in general premium Airlines of the region from 🇯🇵🇹🇭🇹🇼🇭🇰🇰🇷🇸🇬🇲🇾 selected 🇨🇳 airlines always beat Philippine Airlines🇵🇭. You can actually see it evidently in this plane TG B777-3D7/ER Due to it having the superior product and all classes having alternating current plugs while a B777-3F6/ER only has the AC plugs in Mabuhay Class but not Fiesta Class. Excellent trip report
Yeah, my flight on the A350 was really nice! This one just the cabin was a little outdated, as you've said... Sad that they retired both the B747 and A380...
It’s not fun flying in this region during monsoon season. I once flied with ATR-72 of Bangkok air through a storm. So scary… The route i hate the most in this season is flying southward from BKK.

@@OnBoardHD I flew HS-TKQ a few years ago, I remembered there being Universal Power Outlets available, not sure what happened. But indeed, Thai’s USB-A outlets are extremely slow.
Don't expect that trip report, the options that it would happen are very limited. But something you can expect maybe in the next months is a long-haul on LOT B787... we'll see...
