it's safe to a degree but there is always a risk involved when you go out flying. same as skydiving, same as driving a car, same as riding a bike on the road.
Google the nearest hang gliding school to you, do a tandem flight with an instructor first to see how you like it. Then the course can range anywhere between $2,000 to $4,000. Equipment is available to use from the school too
Really depends on your skill level and the location. Some places you can take off and land at the same spot. if you're a beginner you may take off and land in a clear open area like the beach.
Nice! When ever the wind is on we will be out there haha Best place to start is by doing a tandem flight with the Newy HG instructor Tony Barton. That way you get to experience it before commiting to a course for your license
Hamilton's a nice area. You could potentially see us from there as I know when above Newcastle we can see all of Hamilton :) It's great having a birds eye view
