It's an amazing expeerience. you should give a tandem hang glider flight with an instructor, that will give you a good idea of what it is like.

@@AviationSports1978 haha yeah bloody scary thought that. But lucky for you, you can pretty much land on the spot from directly above haha a few flaps of the wing and you're down

it's safe to a degree but there is always a risk involved when you go out flying. same as skydiving, same as driving a car, same as riding a bike on the road.

Google the nearest hang gliding school to you, do a tandem flight with an instructor first to see how you like it. Then the course can range anywhere between $2,000 to $4,000. Equipment is available to use from the school too

The model is like 1996 but when this one was made I'm not entirely sure. I got it with 18 hours on it and I've put on another 25 or so. it's in great condition

it's different for everyone, I have always been around thee sport so it all felt natural to me. you also progress from sand dunes flying 1 meter off the ground to progressing to hills. so its small stps
