It is motivating to see someone that looks just like you that is enjoys this is interested in this field and as dedicated to our craft. Please remember you inspire and continue to change lives. Keep doing what you are doing brother. All love 💙….. And let’s get these gains!!! 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽😁
I have a question an IT desk support I want to be a database administrator or cybersecurity but now I want to move to Network administrator os system administrator do I lie about my resume or keep it real that I work as a desk support in my resume to get the role or how did you do it
At the same time 7:22, we said that your score was 900. With that preparation you described, it had to be at least that.😄 Also, you get a pass for not making that Certpocalypse deadline. Sorry you wasted your 💵 & ⏲. As you said, life happened. As I or we say, "Yeah. For sure! THE PANDEMIC HAPPENED!"😅
My homeboy had a bbq and I was trying to get information about IT and anyone I know in the field likes to Gatekeep. Do your own research! props big ups!!!!
Thank you. I m graduating from college with a Computer Support & Network administration Associate. I want to get the CCNA Certification to help me land job. I was wondering if we could chat and if I could be blessed with a little bit of your precious time to answer a couples of my questions? Thank you in advance 🙏🏾
I’m currently studying for the ccna, don’t have any job experience in IT yet. This video really helped a lot when it came to the interview aspect and what to expect and what I should really focus on in the scenario of the interview. I really appreciate this content.
Im here bro I started following you around this time and currently really on the road so excited and will try to following your way thanks alot bro 🙏🏾💯
Can confirm this video is outdated. There are labs now and they are time consuming. Additionally, the exam leans into automation more than other subjects. The exam reflects the concepts listed, but one requires a very solid understanding of the topics rather than merely being able to interpret, compare, or describe them.
Dope Video, bro. I'm also going for my CCNP and doing the ENARSI before touching any network automation content. The content int he advance routing, I feel like, seems to be the meat and potatoes of what I've seen in my networking career, valuable knowledge to have and take with you in your networking career. Best of luck, my guy!
See I found wireless design exam I got was pretty straight forward. I passed it first go. However the implementation exam was horrible. Without saying too much a lot of the questions are ambiguous and in some cases down right misleading. I feel for both they’re asking questions more akin to English questions rather than clear and defined questions.
I wish you would do a video on the direction on cisco, i wouldnt get a ccie unless ur just gona work with cisco the rest of yr life, i say that to say the 2nd and 3rd players in the industry have combined- Aruba Networks just bought Juniper Networks so cisco is no longer the top dog come 2025, that means they HAVE over taken Cisco in terms of marketshare, products, clients, etc even the gov who almost exclusively uses cisco is starting to go away from it, My advise to u is get a cert thats not cisco, ur a net engineer, that means u work on anything, any vendor, any device, guys who stick to one vendor their whole career are often limited career wise & earning potential wise cuz they only know one brand of device... i got guys with ccies on my team who have no clue how to operate palo alto firewall, no nothing bout juniper switches etc, cuz they are restricted by vendor, they ask net admins for help... u gotta start diving into other vendors especially now with the merging of Aruba & juniper networks, even palo alto now has monopoly on firewall technology, u gotta keep up with this new landscape
Thanks for your encouragement it really helps just to see it’s almost the samething am going through.I just stared my network journey and very excited and bless big up!
God bless you for this video man. I’m a single dad in helpdesk and this motivated me to continue studying for my certs and not lose focus because it is possible to move up.
Hey Brendan! I'm happy to see you back creating videos again and it's been awesome watching your content over the years. I'm approaching 2 years in IT now and working as a System Administrator working with a bunch of different technologies. Cloud may also be in my future as well! ☁ Also, congratulations on the new job opportunity! 🥳
Hey, thanks for the valuable information. When you get a chance, could you please update us on why network engineering is coming to an end I planned on being a network engineer after I graduated this year.
For me right now, I'm in college going for a Bachelor's in IT with an emphasis in Network Infrastructure. Pretty close to getting my associates actually! My semester break and summer semester is coming up soon and I'm thinking about getting my A+ over this time, which I'm hoping will help me in the long run especially if I wanna work in IT before I graduate. But probably next year or so I wanna get started on studying for my CCNA, its something that I think would be really beneficial to have once I graduate. Though, I'm worried that its gonna be hard to study for considering the time it takes to study (I've heard it takes upwards of 6 months) and my school workload and a part time job.
Great to see you back Brendan! Curious to hear what you think about Cisco U vs CBTNuggets. My wife and I just had our daughter on Valentines day so studying definitely took a backburner. Putting my foot back on the gas for ENCOR 💪
Being in IT in general is never what it used to be. That cycles every 1-5 years with the next major breakthrough. Network engineers will always be relevant, their job duties will just be different.
