Wow, if I had not watched this video I probably would’ve spent two hours or more maybe even two days installing it only took 30 minutes maybe. Thank you for an awesome video.
I need some help , I broke my turning switch , and I want to know if I need to change the hole thing just like you did , or only the switch I mean if it is possible to change only the multifunction switch , my jeep is the same you have bro , 2015 . Please answer me .
Mine wouldn’t close so I switch it for a new one. When I plugged the new one in the factory alarm went off as if it was broken into but it stopped when I hit the unlock button on the remote. I was able to get it closed but now it won’t open. I’ve tried opening it from the button on the trunk, the button on the dash inside the car, and when I try using the remote the lights flash. I’m so lost. Any idea what it could be?
@@christianmiller7954 I thought I’d be able to open it back up and install the emergency release later. I was moving hastily because it happened at my wife’s job and it was getting dark. I plan to have my son go back in the trunk and unscrew the screws and unplug the cable. Does the emergency release have to be installed for it to work? I didn’t think it did but maybe I’m wrong.
Great video. Im having problems with my front wiper which stays permanently on. I was told to change only the switch. Question is, do i have to change out the switch just as you did in your video? I drive a Jeep grand Cherokee overland 2013. I was thinking theres a way to change out the switch without removing the air bag or steering wheel. Thanks.
excellent video was very helpful, but I'm trying to know or find out why to put turn signals or simple flashing lights does not sound the tic tac, does not emit sound, will have some relay in bad condition, have any idea, thanks in advance for your help, greetings from chile I have a jeep 2012 laredo 4x4
Hello! So I need more information. Are you saying flasher lights on the dash and vehicle work when actuated you just don’t here the clicking coming from the dash?
@@christianmiller7954 Yes, when I move the lever to the right or left the lights turn on without problems, but the ticking does not sound, at first it sounded but no longer and I can not find the relay if it exists, to check it.
Just did this. Only way to open the trunk was from the manual pull from inside. At first i thought it was just a blown fuse so I swapped it out and popped the trunk open and it worked until I closed it and tried again lol. Was blowing the fuse each time so I replaced the latch on the trunk as you did and replaced the fuse again and boom! Everything works as normal. Thank you for saving the people money 👍🏼
Thanks for the informative video, it was very helpful I also found out if the driver's side trunk lid tailgate light is out the trunk release will work intermittently. Had issues with opening my trunk, i replaced the fuse and latch and the problem still exists. Replaced the blown bulb on the tailgate and it works fine.
Ok can somebody please tell me what is the spark plug gap on the 2014 ford fusion ecoboost se 1.5 liter engine they talk about how to change them I no that much I need to no the gap anyone no
Thanks for doing the video. I followed the steps and had no trouble changing the plugs. Unfortunately, the car will not run now. It will crank but fails to keep running. I put the old plugs back in and it still does the same thing. Are there any additional steps I needed to do? I have a 2013 Fusion with a 2.5L engine. It has 104K miles and has been extremely reliable. The only repairs I have had to do is replace brake calipers. Thanks in advance for any additional info.
So in theory if the latch was the problem it wouldn’t blow the fuse if the wires going to the latch were unhooked.? Cause I’ve unhooked the latch and it still blows the fuse.
