Brisbane 1-2 Sydney Wellington 1-1 Auckland Mariners 2-0 Perth Western Sydney 2-2 Adelaide Melbourne Victory 1-1 Macarthur Western UTD 1 Melbourne City 3 I reckon Wellington will get the better of Auckland but Auckland will sneak a lucky goal in and hold onto it Mariners should win comfortably Perth just not strong enough yet Western Sydney bs Adelaide will be a very tight and contested game Victory Will dominate Macarthur but as we saw in the Australian cup we hit them hard on the counter with the likes of drew and Jaklos Western UTD will lose comfortably to City
@@FinnWhite-bq2pf Wasn’t directed towards you mate. The only think I can think of with Auckland is that it must be a lot of their fans first time watching football. First off, they beat Brisbane. Let’s be honest, when you play Brisbane you expect 3 points, so it’s not exactly an enormous result. Then they beat us, with 3 games in almost 7 days, tons of injuries. Not making excuses, it is what it is, but I’m hoping the Nix will bring them back to reality this weekend.

As a Sky Blues fan, I'm still scratching my head as to why Hayden Mathews' goal was disallowed 🚫. Adam Kersey has a lot to answer for in the VAR booth, considering Patryk Klimala didn't interfere with the play. Therefore, it was passive offside. The officials must judge if the player without the ball is involved in the play in some way - for example, by challenging for the ball or, say, obstructing the goalkeeper's vision. In that case, the player would be judged offside despite not having touched the ball. In Patryk Klimala's case, he did none of the above therefore Sydney FC's goal should have stood. A 1-1 draw would have been a fair result.
Disapointed, the amount of travel & injuries are reasons to say that we failed against Auckland. Overall, I think this is a result of fatigue & not much to worry about.
We deserved at least a draw. The winner was a handball, we didn’t even get an explanation why our goal was ruled out, and De Vries was literally riding Klimala in the penalty box. We leave with nothing but some costly injuries
Great result, It was very looking likely that we would loss or draw this game. Very stoked with the start so far. But it’s a long way to go in the season.
