You gotta pay him his money. Take out a loan if you have to. Or let this stuff derail your momentum. The ball is in MacArthur's court, and has been for a month now.
😮😮Undeserved, this team has had to deal with so much yet they still have proved themselves to be a great side in the A-League. They could win the league this year.
That's a bit petty to be sacked over an inflated argument in the dressing room. In football (and sport in general), things can easily go wrong. And the passion boils over. It's like we have to sanitise every circumstance, even when it's not worth the effort.
This is wild. It's a dressing room spray after a game, attended by two members of the board, and I have to assume [nearly] every single member of the first team squad, but the courts can't substantiate the claims made by the board, like for instance the "pub team" Quote. That's like, what 2 dozen witnesses to the talk?
I hate to be that guy but Football Australia need to foot the bill. Its so early for a club like Macarthur FC to have a 2/3 year ban on signing players. Aleague isn't big enough to be able to support it. What Football Australia could do is set up a payment plan to bail them out
The league will turn to shit if that happens. The club was dumb enough to sign a $300K coach and damn enough to sack him over pettiness. They must be held accountable for their actions.
and looks like he is broke too. Macarthur should stand their ground, and not pay him for his disrespect and just use youth players for the next few years and try to retain as many of the current players. Dwight put the club in disrepute with his comments which led to his sacking, but Macarthur should have paid out his contract nevertheless. But it is what it is. Dwight failed as a Head coach in a small league.
@@abm5119 He was only there for a month or two, when they won the Australia Cup the first time, so I would attribute that to the players, and had a shocker season, and didn't last the whole season because he was putting the club down. It was his first managerial job and hasn't coached since. Lesson he learnt was never bag your employer or club. He is now untouchable.
I don’t understand all the hate for Macarthur FC just because we are the 3rd Sydney team. Yeah I get it there was other locations more deserving than Macarthur of an a league spot but every great league has multiple lots of clubs from the same location as each other. The A league is a growing league that needs more clubs considering there are only 13 clubs. It is just something people need to know because Macarthur FC has so much underserved hate. 🖤💛🤍
Sorry for the hate bro but I honestly don't see how your club can survive over the long term. Even the so called successful teams usually operate at a loss. Starting a football club in this country is not easy & the truth is they are facing an huge up hill battle. Someone has to pay the bills, otherwise this is what you get.
