It's insane and disturbing to think of wll the billions our government spends on other people's wars and illegal immigrants and refused to send so much less to it's own people...makes me sick
My wildest lightning was on previous week, when I was doing random stuff, a lightning struck out of my window and I heard a loud explosion. After that, a very electric and active thunderstorm passed my house, it wasn't even raining. No footages unfortunately.
I remember that tornado I was 5 my mom said hit the basement! I had no idea I was scared she said to stay calm I did not I looked out side and our back yard did not look the same. My dog was at a difrent place. It hit that house but my dog was ok she is still alive but my cat did not know so I never tell him and I do not want my dog to think of that again
8:46 SPOILERS FOR THE MOVIE BTW In the overpass scene, it is at the start of the movie, and that is how the protagonist's friends die. Some are thrown into the tornado before they even get there, and two are killed in the overpass. Kate even discredits it before they try go in but for them there aint another way to have a chance of living
I live in Naperville, and I remember calling my friend during the 2021 Woodridge EF3, telling him how damn close he was, since he was in Downers Grove,. His quote: "Whatever, I have renter's insurance"
I’d argue FEMA and the U.S. federal government in general is just as if not more evil than that tornado. They’d probably feel more generous had the tornado struck somewhere in Ukraine or Israel.
At 14:97 a graphic labels the Plainfield F5 as occurring on August 28, 2013. Your earlier video (really well done btw) has the correct date as 1990. Just a heads up. Thanks for these videos!
I was 4 when this happened. If you ask a person from the area about tornadoes that's the one that comes to mind. By the way the fact that you pronounce Pekin correctly is mind babbling
I was headed south on 355 coming up on 63rd when I got the tornado alert that it'd been spotted around 75th, I nope'd the hell around and went back north.
I was disappointed in the movie. I’ve been a hardcore weather girl for 30+ years. Me and my son (who is also a huge weather nerd) both got bored with it. Into the storm is cheesy, but a much better movie than Twisters
I’m wondering if the car is still drivable, I mean- if I’m wrong you can say that, but the car still looks in good condition despite the dirt and stuff on it
hey! just saw celtons Vid! congrats on chasing your third violent ef4 and a cool ef3! i hope the people of greenfeild and all affect areas are doing better. are you going to make a vid about this soon? looking forward to new great vids!
the last 2 years has shown even more evidence. Especially this years events with that Corn Belt Derecho we just had that procured 31 tornadoes in the Chicagoland area.
The way you show footage, the map, the sizing and explain the growth/impact all while mentioning people who survived and those that sadly did not (rip🤍 ) is incredible. By far the best style of tornado videos.
I'm literally the next town over from crystal lake... I've noticed that we get an insane amount of tornadoes, I thought it was normal... I never realized that it's actually a hot zone for them.
Crystal Lake and Plainfield are far from the city limits, 1961? 1967? Tornadoes are extremely rare in the city, all your examples are in the far out suburbs…
Growing up in Joliet we are taught in school the area is Tornado Alley, we were well versed on tornado drills growing up. I still lost a friend in the Tornado of 90 however. RIP to those that perished.
