In every thread milling video I've seen they always say to start at the bottom and cut upwards otherwise the swarf can build up in the bottom of the hole and give problems (damage the thread or clog up or even break the tool when in steel). Anyway it's a good habit to get into.
I've been trying to make my Nickel Electrolyte, but can't make it work. I have a lab power supply, I have 99.6% pure nickel strips, I am using Vinegar with a dash of salt..... but nothing will turn green. I can tell that it is eating up my nickel, as the stuff on the positive is vanishing while the negative bubbles like mad. Everything is doing exactly what it looks like it should... except my liquid is a milky white. This liquid should be super concentrated by now. Many strips should be in the liquid... Any idea what I am doing wrong here?

That's quite the stache you have their chief... Do you have a strong Tailwind or is it leaning forward a lot more than it should be? You should do something about that you wouldn't want it getting caught up on things especially something like your wife's earrings or other sensitive areas.... 😊😅😂
I struggled with the shield re-install due to the bends required in the power and other cables coming off the motherboard. I mitigated the problem by locating (on Amazon) 90 degree connector for 24 as well as the other connectors on the right side ASUS ROG STRIX Gaming motherboard. I was able to reinstall the shield with a slight bulge only noticeable by close examination. Very pleased with that solution.
I did zinc and copper before now I'm ready to try nickel. I bought a gallon of 30% industrial-strength cleaning vinegar and non-andodized sea salt. Every time I thought about trying it, I kept using the cheaper viegar for rust remover and it's all dirty. I just bought some nickel, rant over.
