If more mic tests come in and shock mounts: my wife went through several different solutions. Main problem was simply the desk/table vibration from typing. Maybe could use that in the future to test stands/shock mounts? $0.02

Excellent idea. I had a few goes at doing tests for the shock mount, but trying to differentiate between the shock and the noise from the shock was really difficult. Probably extreme shaking it like that, but if I can get a boom arm to do a typing test would be good. Try and dial out the typing noise and see how it works. Although I am REALLY heavy handed when I type. 😂

The stand is really solid and was quite a surprise. Genuinely difficult to knock over.

Can anyone help me? I recently bought a microphone that came withe a soundcard but when i record myself the voice isnt stable... it's like my voice fades in and out word after word.... the soundcard has many buttons like truble, bass, record, music, monitor, elimination, shock wave, mc and dodge... can anyone help me out?

That sounds like there's a gate involved, which are used to cut out background noises and does this by dramatically reducing the volume for anything below a certain noise level. Might be the "elimination" option, for eliminating background maybe? could also be to do with "attack, hold, release" options if there are any, which control how quickly it responds and stops listening.
