Here’s a quick tour of our cabin in Nashville, TN. Ironically this is located 1 HR 55 MINS from Nashville so plan accordingly. To avoid over paying for items, I recommend bringing your own:
• Lighter fluid
• Fire wood
• Hot chocolate
• Board games
• Hair dryer (not provided in cabin)

My first visit. Do not arrive after dark. The signage is good, but I'm old and at night and on gravel roads it is difficult. Roads are in pretty good condition, no big potholes. Cabins may be FEMA trailers, but nicely finished inside. Lots of wood. I will be back but will bring more basics like butter and oil. There is no oven or toaster. Bring your own pillow! Views are wonderful, it's April so not much foliage. Will come back in the winter and hope for snow! Definitely returning. Grandkids would love this place.

How safe did you feel in the cabin? Thinking of going with my adult daughter for a weekend

We felt very safe, the door has a double lock feature and the cabin has a phone that’ll connect you to employees if anything were to happen. If you get the cheapest cabin, you’ll also have a neighbor a good few hundred feet from you as well. Just follow curfew and get indoors when it’s getting dark since it gets PITCH black. Just be situationally aware and you two will be just fine.

No cell service once you’re at the campsite. Our phones lost signal when we were about 20 mins from arriving at the cabin. For reference we had Verizon & T-mobile.

Question? If you don’t mind answering, are the Hey roads bad and bumpy? Or any really steep hills?

Roads aren’t bad at all, it’s just gravel near the outposts. There are no steep hills either.

How is the water supply in washrooms and kitchen?

No need to conserve water during your stay! Long showers stay hot and running water in the kitchen is just like home

Hi Nancy! Thanks for the review! I have a couple questions. 1. How's the water pressure in the cabin? 2. How well does the heater work? I plan on going in the beginning of December, to Nashville. Thanks!!!

Hi! Water pressure was average; not too soft/hard. We didn’t use the heater since it was summer but I’d expect it to be just as good as the a/c.
