Hi and welcome to The Copper Elm!! I'm a Colorado gal who loves giving new life to not-so-new furniture and home decor! I know painting can be intimidating, and I'm here to reassure you that it doesn't have to be. With the right products, the right mentor, and the right mindset, you'll be a pro in no time! I'll be breaking down the entire process of painting furniture with eco friendly, professional grade products, one step at a time. So, roll up your sleeves and get your brush ready...it's time to paint!
I’m in Colorado too in Loveland. I have an armoire that I want to moisture how long before I can put towels and blankets in or if I do the inside of a chest of drawers how long before I can fill it back up with my clothes.
I was looking for a long rug to put in my entryway but it was way too expensive for the measurements i had but maybe this will work 👍 the way she said Fancy rugs don't have wrinkles 😂😂😂😂😂😂❤ new sub
Wow what a fantastic idea. Craft stores sell that heavy upholstery fabric that is sorta rug like looking already and not having to spend $300 on a “cheap” rug (they just get more expensive from there) would be great!
You must have incredibly strong hands! Lol! I tried this and it took an incredible amount of pressure and leveraging the table to cut the screw. I've resolved to purchasing knobs from etsy that come with machine screws that screw into the knob and can be purchased in multiple sizes. Guess I'm the odd ball out on this b/c it was near impossible for me. And I'm pretty strong.
Find a blacksmith or a metal fabricator. We were able to get parts like that made from photos. Shops that have done this work before will tell you what they need in the photos.
I'm sorry it didn't work for you! It definitely takes some muscle and different tools will perform differently. Honestly, if it doesn't work using the tool, I'd return it and get your money back! Luckily for me the one I got worked great...so no bologna here.
