This song is most remembered from the scene from Goodfellas. But what a lot of people don't realize is that this song was used in the beginning of Adventures in Babysitting several years before Goodfellas.
My mom used to say this ("Puddin' N' Tain, ask me again and I'll tell you the same") when I was a little kid. I had no idea where it came from until now.
Skippy Devine and his family were my neighbors in Philadelphia back in the 60's. I was friends with Cathy, Janet & Michelle. Great family and fun times listening to Skippy sing.

Heard this song for first time around 2000, was 22 years old. Time still went by at a fair pace. Feels like it was just a week ago. Grandpa was right, life is like walking through a small room. Time was recognizable until out of school, then Groundhog Day movie from then on. Saddest part is watching loved ones age. I can deal with my own but hate seeing loved ones age and go through hard times. God bless everyone, stay strong, we’re all in this together.
