removing or not to remove wont be really much change since there is always that 2 player premade who refuses to surender for clearly lost games removing it would just increase afkers, toxic, or just quiting the game
Remove this shit! I have too many of these players who only give up because something doesn't go according to their thinking, 50% of games are ruined because of surrender. This is a real plague in quick games - after 10 PM when the kids are already asleep, you can clearly see the difference. STOP surrender you weaklings! grow some balls and play, if you fucked up deal with it!

Who decided that top laners should be really high risk damage carries that have no counterplay from bad matchups or poor decisions or jungler strength gaps? Why can you not rely on good picks like janna top??? It even increased viewership. Guess riot just wants to hurt hte game.
I think you missunderstood my opinion haha. I was the first person ever to show off the Janna top strat and I love it. Doesnt mean that it should be played in pro every game as most viewers + pro players hated it. I would have liked for it to be viable, just not the best strat for top

Only MOBA that has surrender is this game, it's so stupid. You would end like 10% of the games. IDK who the hell of LoL devs came with this "fantastic" idea. Stupid rat kids that throw surrender all the time, that's why this game doesn't get the big jump, will remain just a game. Need to learn a lot of HOTS, like shared XP, mounts to move faster and focus on TFs.

They should just remove it altogether honestly, really stupid function that kills off competitivity, either that or put some sort of pre-requirement, it's not normal that in a lot of games people want to surrender for no reason, realistically only about 25% of the matches that get surrendered have a right to be surrendered at all...

All pro players in every videogame are actual losers especially if they follow the meta and doesnt show their skills with things that actually require alot of skill to use. the one who initiates surrender and who follows it should bear all the negetive lp of all 5 teams...there has been new troll or game trap trend going in ranked queue where 4 of them queues and starts to surrender leaving the one person victim of their trap.
Litterally hate it and hate the idea of surrender. Just as of now, lost a match. didnt even see it coming. Total teamscore is 7 to 15, so not horrible. Enemy ADC is fed, no problem as im a burst mage, and we have lots of CC. But when people are behind, and they dont get to be the "carry" in the game, they pop a surrender, and go next. To me it is such a toxic mentality. Remove surrender entirely in ranked. Below Master rank, almost every game can be turned. And yes, it might lure out some really toxic people, but they would be banned as time goes on. People would focus more on winning the game, rather than "its going to take a lot of effort to win this, lets go next" The whole system makes you lazy. Dont stomp the enemy team 20-0? FF go next. In games like CS:GO, it even pulls up a warning before you join a game that says "Accepting this, you agree to committing to a full competetive game, which can last up to 90 minutes." lol players are lazy man idk

Not a good idea due to level 30 accounts costing like three bucks. Lets say they do actually do anything about TRUE toxicity (power inting on purpose, following you in jungle to last hit, that kind of degenerate shit). Great, now there's even more impossible games because the main character got slightly behind and will now int and they don't care because a new account is a McDouble away. You can't legally IP ban them so that's off the table. Riot also indirectly profits off of these three dollar accounts because lets say this abysmal human being actually stuck on the account and treated themselves to a nice skin, gotta fork over $10 (and tax). Riot cannot and will not do anything about it. There's zero percent chance they don't know about 80+% of these account selling websites. They have a vested interest in you buying a new account and giving in to the urge of buying a cool skin. Best you'll get is two mid 40's do nothings harping on "the algorithm" and how it's working when as a player of this videogame you know that's bullshit.
