Thank you for using larger than usual yarn and a larger hook (plus big beads) so your viewers could clearly see your technique. This is a very helpful video, especially in terms of bead placement. Thanks again!
Muito obrigada Esse foi o melhor tutorial que já vi nesse seguimento vc usou um material maior que ficou muito fácil de entender Ajudou muito Parabéns!!!
Kumihimo is bright and colorful, makes a happy little gift or accessory, easy to pick up and set down as your other commitments may be. To be told how boring it is, would be an insult to those who enjoy a happy little craft. I won't be seeking out your other videos, don't need someone telling me to do this thing.. But how boring I am if I enjoyed it.
I just subscribed to your channel and I push the notification button could you please write down the Facebook link to the preciosa preciosa Facebook page so I may also get free beads thank you
Well, it is a tutorial and you explain ok, but I want to add something... I just don't get the fact you are saiyng this sad stuff about a japanese old art while doing it in a kind of homemade device, with some colorful cords, of couse doing it like that is more a kid thing (it's cute, but not serious)... kumihimo is made in a marudai (round kumihimo) or takadai (flat kumihimo)... or the yatakadai that can make the rounds and the flats... long ago they were made for building japanese armors and to hang swords, it's strong and pretty, quite important at the time... obijimes are made in kumihimo too, a pretty garment used in kimonos... In the end I just think there's beauty and technique in it and has the easier level and the harder level, I did both macrame and kumihimo and they are both easy and great at the beginning, than it gets harder later on when we mix knots and create the beauty patterns... Not hating, just saiyng o/, since I still have a lot to learn. PS.: You know about kute-uchi, an old relative of kumihimo? If you enjoy hard braiding that is kind of hard in my opinion, never did it, maybe you will enjoy ^^
if you can do a tutorial on the maruda geji it like a flower shape one that be awesome! i've only seen a few tutorials i really wanna make one for my kimono.
The subtitles are coming in the way of your performance so the tutorial is not seen . As I can't see what exactly you are doing I can't understand . Sorry to say so. Please look into the matter 🙏🙏
Too bad the words on screen totally hide the stitching of the beads! Has no one else mentioned this? Was this video with the subtitles never been watched by the author. Wow! Disappointing! Guess I will try someone else's video! Can't learn without seeing!
I have read somewhere you can stiffen the rayon have I been searching for the article. because a friend of mine just gave me several bags of rayon soutache. and you are right its pretty but horrible to use. Maybe you could use this
