@FortKnoxCo

I think they’d be good for the range. But I don’t know if it’s the “recommended” use. They work off of the loud loose and sound canceling just like other range ears. So I’d say yes. But again, if you hurt your ears I’m not sure if Milwaukee would have any responsibility for it. 🤷🏼‍♂️

My understanding is with plug on neutral panels used as a main bonded panel. The ground can go on the neutral bar but the neutrals must be one per terminal

Good information. I know there usually is a difference when you have a main panel and the. Neutral bar and ground bar are bonded vs with a sub panel the two have to remain separate.

I’m installing on a pitch ceiling and now my receiver won’t fit, the housing is so small. Can I buy a bigger housing by itself?
@FortKnoxCo
@FortKnoxCo 3 дня назад
It would depend on the brand of fan. Usually the housing design fits the style of the fan. But generally how the housing secured to the fan support that screws into the ceiling is the same. At the end of the day the housing secured by two screws on the side. So it could be possible to get a bigger style of housing. Might just have to be a little creative

Will I ruin my nest doorbell if I don’t hook up the chime box adapter?
@FortKnoxCo

Hmmm. I’ve never seen a transformer in the house. Unless it is in the chime box itself, I don’t know where to even begin looking for it. If it’s in the ceiling crawl space, I’ll never know; can’t get in there, any more. This is discouraging.
@FortKnoxCo
@FortKnoxCo 4 дня назад
Usually I’ve always found them in the garage. Near the front of the home or near the location of the doorbell itself. I’ve also heard some people say they found it up in the attic if it’s accessible. It should be mounted in a location that can’t be accessed, they are an item that. We’d service sometimes so it would be a bad move on the builder to do that. I’d say start looking in and around the area close to the door bell and the door chime in your home. Should be close by

Nice video thanks for a clear guide to follow. My question is when you’re running a back wash cycle for the first time, I forgot to close the outlet valve from the softener to the house for like 10 minutes not realizing it at first that it needed to stay on bypass for an hour+. Will that cause any issues to the system or will it be fine for that short amount of time that it was on for?
@FortKnoxCo
@FortKnoxCo 4 дня назад
It shouldn’t cause any problems. As the system runs it should work properly. That’s just the initial set up and fill/flush. It’s usually to just get water/air/small particles flushed through so you can start using the system. It won’t have any affect on the function of your system.

what's the remodel vent doing in the wall?
@FortKnoxCo
@FortKnoxCo 9 дней назад
The remodel vent was just added there as a extra. There will be a vent access in the wall, so it will have airflow. But really it was just a precautionary measure. There is a true vent down the line about 9 feet away, but it’s not directly vertical above this sink, so it should drain just fine and have plenty of ventilation, the remodel vent was placed there

that's the proguard stub out kit, it's under 7 bucks. it replaces 2 90 degree fittings, 2 bucks each and 4 rings, 0.25 each, and 2 2 supports, about 0.20 each. that's just over 5 bucks total. plus the 2x4 and most importantly the time. if your having a hard time with those just use a bend support for wood. it's under 2 bucks, no adding fittings and is way faster to install. check out holdrite item 705.

@FortKnoxCo
@FortKnoxCo 10 дней назад
I really just use plastic or metal to paint on how many I’m going to use and the cost overall. Usually they’re pretty similar with how far they seat down and how they’re supposed to fit. So if it’s bumping into another piece, the connection may be too close to the next one. But I would say that the metal would outlast the plastic, yet the plastic is rated to the production standard. So at the end of the day, I think it really just comes down to how much you wanna spend on the connections. If you’re doing a whole entire house, I could see where someone would go with plastic Connectors Because you’re using so many. If I’m just gonna do a water softener and I only need a couple I might use the metal.
