There is a sequence to removing the external covers. Base (4 screws), Side (1 screw), Back (5 screws, there are two under the handle), Face plate (you must remove tension which is finicky), and lastly the front. The screw on the right side, you only need to loosen. Both front and back covers slide straight out don't lift up. You can use the Singer Buttonhole attachment for zig-zag machines, just make sure you don't get a slant shank version as this machine is low shank.

hello! I basted the waistline because it's a curved cut and there's a risk of the fabric being stretched out while handling the pieces when sewing. The basting stitches help to hold the fabric in place and prevent it from stretching out :)
I recommend squinting, then using an aegyosal pen or brown eyeshadow draw a line based off your natural aegyosal then to get a light brown eyeshadow and apply upwards then finally using a white eyeshadow or glitter in the middle of your aegyosal.
Be careful that it’s a very close fit over the dog’s snug collar or only have it on the dog when you’re out together because you don’t want the bandana getting caught on anything. Same goes for hanging id’s-your dog will panic if it gets caught and may suffer a medical event.

Tip: when you use the burrito method you can feed your elastic in before you pull the fabric right sides out. Feed your elastic down the centre of your scrunchie, close the elastic by knotting or sewing it, pull your scrunchie right sides out then close up scrunchie. It means you don't have to fight as much gathered fabric when closing the elastic. I hope this makes sense.

Brilliant! I have just started using my machine after years, because I read the manual and figured out the tension on the top was too slack and the bottom was too tight. I thought I was just awful :D
