I was tagged in an Instagram post that read, "White man, white man, white man, you are not welcome in the South. Don't come to the South, you and your kind are the problem." Intrigued and undeterred, I jumped in the car with TJ and headed south to uncover what was happening in M-City, also known as Marabella and I also ran into my bully face-to-face.

I like seeing that he is open and honest with them with our conflicts. Because lots of men in Trinidad blood close to their skin , you say something against them and they just want to kill you . They don't have the advanced skill of conflict resolution. This should be taught at home and school.

1 thing that hits home was when you were in the yard and the fish was being prepared and you said you love how friendly the neighbors are and everyone can hang and get along.....right so it is for us in Belize. We don't need to clubs or no bars to have fun, Light 1 BBQ grill or cook something on the stove and it's a party/hangout. Lastly I'm glad you went to the south and meet up with the Ras and heard his side of the Story. The Ras got a point about what may happen when you leave. You agreed that some of these guys may just use you to flex their power. All in all....I'm glad it all turned out good and everyone showing love! Finally!!! This video lifted my spirits. My entire family is from south Trinidad and this is the Trinidad I know and loved visiting as a child. Humble, togetherness, positivity and quiet. I’m not too familiar with the northern communities but the videos you uploaded recently featuring the other communities disturbed me deeply. This was a breath of fresh air.

Chris the interview at the end was something we needed to hear not only to clear the air but to show that you fully understand what exactly is going on in this country. I live here and i absolutely hate it here because it's too much gang violence, corruption and cost of living is too damm high. Innocent poor people are the only ones that suffer and we don't have anything to defend ourselves with, the best and only option is to migrate to another country which I'm trying to do because it's only going to get worse. What you said here that people need someone to talk to and people need mental health is absolutely true but there's much much more to the story with the gang violence, the gangsters just aren't telling you ever single detail. Pretty much most of the country, outside of the East-West Corridor and environs is the safer part of the country. There are some exceptions to this, of course, but most of the crime hotspots are centred to this region or criminal activities can be traced back to this region.

Before you leave, visit San Fernando, the 'Industrial Capital' of Trinidad because of its proximity to the Point - a - Pierre oil refinery and many other petrochemical, LNG, iron and steel and aluminum smelters in Couva, La Brea and Point Fortin. Marabella is of course near to San Fernando. Also near are Tunapuna, Siparia , Princes Town, Chaguanas, Gasparillo, Rio Claro and Tacarigua.

Born and raised in Trinidad and now I don't even understand the lyrics in the music, Trinidad and Tobago got too Americanized too fast. When I was growing up we were never a people to copy other people style, we were proud to shine and even take it abroad. I will bet you if you asked 70% of the young people right now the question"what was the only musical instrument "INVENTED" in the twentieth century and they won't be able to answer you. We need to go back to the way we were and stop copying other countries styles. Just be your self and be contented and proud to be a "TRINI"

I love your Deep conversation with "The Man, Rev." I think people are now aware and very concerned about the youths in the nation because of your videos. I hope that government, Opposition, Commissioner of Police and TTPS will help these poor vulnerable Youths. Poverty is hell but it's no excuse to choose a life of Crime. Chris organize with NGOs, charter a bus and take some of those youths in Town to see the Pitch Lake; and take children from South and Central to POS and maybe Tobago. ❤️🇹🇹❤️

There are a lot of programs for youths in Trinidad. They even built community swimming pools in some neighborhoods. Basketball courts, trade fairs, every day. Is something new advertising on the ministry of youth development and national service. People from this country. Have no idea what’s going on for the youths. Because they don’t pay attention . They just regurgitate what other people said. Checkout the ministry, and you would see what is out there for whoever wants to take advantage of the opportunities.

@@brownsugar2271all throughout this man’s videos I’ve been saying the same thing in my head..Trinidad has a great deal of social programs for the less fortunate,educational and skills/trade programs for the youths free of charge.. Some ghettos in Trinidad have community pools,basketball courts,community centers,pan yards,home work centers,schools,and access to some of those same programs mentioned earlier.. The problem is war and border lines,just imagine if you are a WASA worker from one neighborhood and have to do wrk in a neighborhood that is at war with gangs in your neighborhood which has absolutely nothing to do with you but some how someone recognizes you from your neighborhood you end up with bullets just because..same goes for anything else,they have restricted themselves from the benefits of the country,then turn around and say the government does nothing for them 🤷‍♂️

Absolutely positive 😊. Man don't complain he gets up and go get! This is what needed in the other communities. Spiritual motivation. And doing for self . They don't have to eat lizards because they have ducks and chicken. Islam Muslims are not a religion its a way of life! The other gangs should try it!
