You would have been much more satisfied with the e46 330i coupe. I don't know why so many people reference ski trips when less than 1% of people actually ski and of those who do, 99% will drive an SUV 4x4 to the slopes or resorts. Well, good luck, keep tires at 34psi, change oil and air filter every six months, monitor your temperature Guage and keep an eye on the coolant reservoir level. If the DISA VALVE makes noise, service it immediately.
I drive my Z4 since 2011 and I love the proportions with the the long hood. What I really don´t like is that' the front parking sensors don´t work automatically as the rear sensors do. I always have to turn them on manually when needed. Maybe I do something wrong ?
Mine's dark blue, never noticed the panel gap thing... EDIT: the yellow angel eyes are easy to upgrade, you get LEDs to put in place of the bulbs - or at least that was the case on E92. EDIT: on #3, that's why front parking sensors are a MUST-HAVE option on these.
White looks great on that model. My 1st one is golden the the 2nd is dark grey. I love the golden color on this car but soon I must make a hard choice and sell one of them.
I hate the fact both of mine (2009 and 2011) are fast and look better than any other car in the road. Really hate the attention and people saluting me because the z4 is soooo good looking. 😂 naaaa... I love it!!!!!
I'm on my first slk, there's nothing better than driving with the top down around Loch Lomand, Arrochar, Dunoon on a dry day. Not so good on a motorway. I used to look at guys like me (I'm 67) and think act ur age. Now I look at other slk drivers on a sunny day and want to shout at them to get the top down. They're letting us fellow slk owners down. 😂
Which one is more reliable. I had a 2013 and a 2010 Audi a4 and both were shit. On both it was eating engine oil and on the 2013 the multi tronic gear box went at 75 000 km. It seems Audi is unreliable.
Im currently 17, my grandpa has one but he decided to give it to me as my first car, been 2 weeks since I've started driving it and I couldn't be more happy, truly a incredible car!
AVOID these 1.0 eco boost engines. This is just a visual opinion which I also went for, but my god, it was the worst car Ive had, coolant, turbo all vulnerable, but worst is the vulnerability of the wet belt. And even if replaced it doesn't mean it won't snap still. Just a bad design. If it snaps you are looking at a new engine, if you decide to replace it you are looking at up to £1,500 to replace. I got rid after a year. If you want a zetec s get one that is not 1.0 or an older model.
Love the video and the car. I have just purchased this model 2nd hand and really adore it. One thing that puzzles me, which maybe you might know the answer to. The air vents on the Bonet. The drivers side has a sealed tray inside preventing the rain from entering the engine, however the passenger side has no tray apart from the battery cover tray. I have noticed that water collects inside under the battery. Is this correct ?
One of the dumbest car videos I've seen on RU-vid! I mean aside from the stupid clickbait title, and all the irrelevant differences mentioned between the 2 cars, because one is a coupe and another is a ROADSTER, what really pissed me off is that at first, when he compared the engine performances he only mentioned the difference in capacity (2.0 vs. 2.5) and as if he knows nothing about cars, was surprised how the power figures are similar but the Audi has way more torque than the Z4. Geee i wonder why that might be🤔🤔🤔??? maybe because there's a fucking TURBO in the Audi??? The word that wasn't mentioned even once. Btw, I have the same exact 2011 Z4 sDrive 23i and it's a great car, and having said that I wouldn't look twice at the Audi TT. It's a totally different proposition
I have the N54 Twin turbo in my E89 and absolutely love it! My Z4 roasts Boxsters and is just an absolute blast to drive on my curvy Az roads. Yep yank here that loves European cars.
I have recently acquired my Z4 which has been a pleasure, regarding boot space it is a given you will just have room for a tooth brush, swimming trunks and a pack of condoms for weekends away 😁 if you want the extra space the boxster is the answer but you also get sleepless nights wondering when you have an engine detonation so that extra boot space will be handy for luggage for that extended stay. ps I think a boxster would be great but servicing costs, parts and unplanned expenditure would diminish any additional enjoyment it may give me. Just my opinion
