pro tip. paste flux. dip both of the wires in paste after the conductor has been neatly twisted. then apply a bead of solder to the tip of the iron. then put the bead on the flux. it should go on super clean. this is called tinning. then you can use the same method to butt splice the cables.

Yeah I have CTS Turbo Test Pipes on my B8. However, what I'm saying here is that a Test Pipe is not the same as aftermarket cats and this video targets the perfect build for test pipes, when your car doesn't have test pipes.@@BlacklistBuilds

I'm in the same boat as you, but just test pipes and oem rear mufflers basically. did you had any problem with 5W40 oil ? because in France we are told to use 5W30, but since I'm on stage 2 and the engine heats plus than normal, and I wanted to try the 5w40.

Great video - I wished I'd seen it sooner. I made the mistake of buying an LED CF wheel from Vicrez and it was a complete nightmare. It took months to get to me (2 months late), and they sent the wrong type of wheel that I'm still fighting with them about. Their customer service is a complete joke too. Lesson learned on my part for sure

I wanted to put Vibrant Ultra Quiet resonators just past my gutted cats but your guy said the flex wouldn't support that weight (5 lbs each). Do you know if it would be possible to install them up there with any kind of extra support/braces so they won't pull apart the flex? Seen or think of anything like that?

@@BlacklistBuilds did it fail at high speeds because mine failed but didn’t snap the best I just had alternator warning . It was only a few days later I realized that the crank pulley that failed. That’s after I got a new alternator that didn’t fix my problem
@@yunggenna1483just got this fault the other day…. Not sure if I should replace alternator or start with my crank pulley, belts and tensioners before I consider replacing a 1400 alternator. I’m tuned stage 2 at 230,000km original crank pulley

Have you heard about that being done on any other B8's/B8.5's? Do you have any tips for how I might be able to get them off w/o damaging stuff?
Did this do a lot for the cold start volume? I have an x pipe already and was thinking of adding dual vibrant bottle resonators but I was considering replacing the x pipe with this and not getting bottle resonators.
My wires for the led didn't come spliced in like yours, which wires should I connect my red and black to for led module? They shipped my airbag and steering wheel separate
