Awesome update Steve! I didn't catch the video you took down but I'm glad I was able to catch this one, was busy yesterday! Lots of cool stuff you got here. Love that Dissection album, it's fantastic! Starting to get into Darkthrone more, Blaze in the northern sky is great. Beherit is one I need to check out. Penetration sounded fantastic, really enjoyed that. Really cool to hear some of these bands I've not heard of. I added Bloody Gore, Ptahil, Masachist, Hegemoon and Moon to my list, they all sounded really great! 😁🤘🏻🤘🏻
Hell yea Josh, thanks man. Yea, these was cool to pick up. Several of these seem to be a mystery to the black metal circle except for the main ones. Fun stuff to find stuff like this. Thanks for watching Josh!
@stevesekora You're welcome mate! Yeah that's awesome man! Oh that's pretty cool, even some of the purists are stumped on some of these! Really awesome to find hidden gems like these and for you to share them with us. You're welcome mate ☺️🤘🏻
Some Killer Stuff right here Steve. Always find great Album's to check out! Thank's for sharing! 💀🤘💀🤘💀🤘 Got my 200 Stab Wounds Copy yesterday! Totally fucking Killer Album!!
Good evening, Steve! Bloody jet lag, haha ... That's another hell of an update you're showing us here. A real journey into the abyss of the Black and Death Metal underground. That's simply awesome! To be honest with you, of all those albums you showed, I only know Dissection's Storm of the Light's Bane and Darkthrone's A Blaze in the Northern Sky, and I love them both a lot. Have a great day, my friend. 😊🤘🤘🤘
Steve I checked out some Butcher. I saw their new single Speed Metal Samurai pop up on my Osmose feed. I wasn't a fan, but I do like the other stuff of theirs that I've heard. Bewitcher will be here with Skeletal Remains in Sept. however it's a Saturday. I may not get to see them. We'll see if maybe I can wheel & deal at work with people. Enjoying the bass vid as well Take care bro🤘🤘
Hell yea. Thanks man, yea. I haven't heard any othe Butcher tunes other than what is on this album I show. Bewitcher rules, love to that band live. Thank you bro!
Awesome video Steve! Really cool to know of some bands still wanting to play like the good old school bands, keeping that spirit alive! A couple of these bands I know of like Bewitcher, Bear Mace, Chainsword and Blood Oath. I need to check them out properly. A couple here I didn't know like Reactory, Pandemic Outbreak and Butcher, and I added them to my list. Love that old school Thrash and Black/Speed stuff they're doing. One band I wanna check out is Midnight, they're similar I'm told. Not into the Doom stuff, but that's just me! Really great to hang out and listen to some new tunes, as always! 😊😊🤘🏻🤘🏻
Thank you Josh! I have been meaning check Midinght, I always forget about them. This was a fun video to do and I'm glad you like it! Thank you for watching and hanging out!
@@stevesekora You're welcome mate! Ah nice that's cool, I saw they had a new album out this year and people compared them to other Blackened Speed bands. I definitely wanna check them out also. I'm glad you're having fun with these videos, they're definitely fun to watch! You're welcome mate, I love these videos! 😁🤘🏻
I miss those days too. Seemed like every death metal album that was released was a banger. We didn't have any radio stations playing death metal around here. But that would have been great if they did here.
Some Killer Stuff right here Steve! Always find some good Bands and Albums through your Videos! Would be great to see your entire Diskographie one day!! Fantastic Video as always! 💀🤘💀🤘💀🤘
This is an awesome video idea - 6 albums from the big three of classic extreme metal - and making it all debuts is a great touch! I sometimes feel a bit glum after watching your videos because you introduce a lot of stuff I want to get but can’t afford cuz I just bought other stuff. But this time, I have most of them. I should get that Gorguts though. I still don’t have that one. I’d like to get Nuclear Assault’s debut, but that one and Handle with Care were remastered and Handle sounds like a bunch of static turned up loud. Terrible remastering. So, I’m not in a hurry to get the debut unless I can find an original CD like I did for Survive.
Agreed on those remastered Nuclear Assault, my Handle With Care is a remaster and it sounds awful 😂. This was a fun one to do. Thank you for watching Peter!
Hell yea, that album is magic. I am looking forward to getting my copy of the new album. I am hearing that it is very good. Stoked. Thank you for watching!
Yeah, Angel Of Damnation are cool. Their singer Gerrit has another Doom band called Dawn Of Winter, they´re excellent as well. More German Doom? Check out Doomshine, Naevus or Mirror Of Deception, all fantastic! Funny enough they´re all from the same area...
Another great video man. Love your content. You always give me stuff to check out that I’ve missed from the past. Also - enjoyed seeing you on Metallurgy last night. It was a kick ass stream.
Hell yea man! That stream was awesome and those guys are the best. Hope to do it again soon. Thank you so mush! Hope you find something you dig here. Had a blast with this video
Dude, check out the Australian thrash band, Hobbs Angel Of Death and the 2016 album Heaven Bled. Released on Hells Headbangers. It's a banger. I found a copy of it at a record store today. 🤘
I’m admittedly not familiar with most of the bands on this list, so I’ll definitely give them a listen. Crypt Sermon is killer, their latest album was really good. Another really good modern doom band is Goat Major, their debut was released just this year.
@@stevesekora Favorite Track..Elektrik Exekutioner..starts with "Welcome Home(Sanitarium) Intro...and goes straight into Slayer-Final Command after one minute
Lots of great shit in this video. Dead Congregation and Ectoplasma are among my favorite modern DM bands too. Looking forward to seeing you on Heavy Metallurgy on Friday!
Awesome video Steve, great list of underrated Thrash albums! I only know the Anthrax and Death Angel albums, Frolic is a great album though I've never been the biggest fan of State of euphoria. I don't know Target or Visitor, I think I remember you showing Target in the past. Need to check out some Exhumer, Darkness and Flotsam and Jetsam, just never given them any time. Exhumer sounded great! I haven't listened to much Heathen and Destruction, definitely need to check out more. And Atrophy put a new album out this year that I've been meaning to check out as well! 😊🤘🏻🤘🏻
Thanks Josh! Yea, State of Euphoria seems to be not for everyone but I've always liked it. I remember when it was first released.. I'm old 😂. Target is outstanding but several people in the comments have mentioned they like their sophomore album better. It's a fun video to do and had fun recording this one. Thank you for always watching, means the world!
@stevesekora You're welcome! That's fair enough man, it has some cool songs on it, I just feel it doesn't sound finished. More time I think would have helped this album. Haha, that's cool! My dad was young when it was released too! Ahh ok that's cool, I'll definitely have to check out both Target albums. Yeah, I'm glad you had fun making this video, it definitely looked like you were. I liked hearing snippets of the bands at the end too. You're welcome mate, as always ☺️🤘🏻
Heathen is my favorite from your list...love it...especially "Open the Grave"(the guitar duel at the end is out of this world) and "Goblins Blade"... Lee Altus(Exodus,Die Krupps) never disappoints..master of killer riffs
@@theycantallbezodiac absolutely agree on that Mordred! I need to get another copy of their debut next time I order. Metallica get to much attention but I still dig their stuff. But you are right, their records are hard rock album now days.
Fantastic collection of albums! I have to spin some of these again, haven't listened to that Darkness and Target in ages. And don't worry, that Heathen is getting all the love it deserves, it's one of my all time favorites. Better than the second! I have to do a response to this one.
Some good stuff there. It definitely pays off to go beyond the top tier of thrash bands. There's so much quality stuff to explore. The Visitör one is excelkent! :) 'Mission Executed' is good, but I think the other album they did - 'Master Project Genesis' - is much better.
Great selection Steve. Cool to see Visitör here, great album, probably the least known of the ones you picked. Do have most of these apart from that Flotsam album, don't ask me why, haha. 😂😂. Cheers. 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Thank you Roger, that Vsitor is a good one. I am mainly showing the more known bands stuff mainly because I didn't want to show the best albums by them. I bet I know why you don't have that Flotsam and Jetsam 😂. Thank you for watching Cheers!
