daviesjack12 you'll find if you look at the right side of the engine, a funny looking bent bar comes out of the top, and has a rubber pipe attached. It connects to a fag box sized thing that sits mounted under the tank, with I think 3 rubber pipes coming off it. This is your egr valve
daviesjack12 NP dude, if your going to do it, remember it will void the warranty on the engine, performance wise, it does make a difference, you'll not lose any power or have it "bog down" at higher revs. Mine always did till I sorted this and never had any negative effects. when I sold it back to the dealer he noticed the difference and was impressed
Just got mine delivered today. Seems a good bike, certainly a looker for sure, very pretty. But one thing though, the speedometer reads in km/h, and the dealer told me it can be changed into mph but I can't seem to be able to do it, have you managed it and if so, how do you do it please?
poor spicy! and i just bought one of these about 2 weeks ago and got to say i freaking love it! pretty much no complaints from this end only thing is paintwork on the tank is on the thin side! but as i say to my freind who has a pulse adrenaline its to save weight ;) but the little zsx absalutly blows the adrenaline in both acceleration and top end! im a big guy!"6ft and over 17 stone!" and it pulls me up to mid 60's on an avrage day but if the bikes feeling good ive seen 78 0n the clock with a slight back wind at about 9'500rpm but over all if anyone is looking for a cheap fantastic looking 125 DO NOT hesitate buy this bike!!
Hey, thinking about getting myself a ZSX but what is really bugging me is that in reviews it says the side stand will end up causing tears and resulting in new plastics, on my bike now the side stand is strong but what's it like on the ZSX?
The Original ZSX's featured a suicide stand where it springs up when you lean it upright. From what I understand the new ones have sidestands that stay down until you kick them back so it shouldn't be an issue.
XTRS is an ok bike but the quality on it is very much less than the ZSX. The XTRS will do everything you want but the ZSX will be lots more fun and more enjoyable.
frozuki36 Appreciate it. It's gotta be worth going for a zsx for the extra two hundred or so quid then. Plus, I get 280 quid a year insurance on the zsx and 330 on the xtrs :D
I like this bike, in fact I'm seriously considering getting one! I very much like the striking appearance of it, it's a very similar to the Husqvarna Nuda in my opinion, which is a VERY nice bike :)
The ZSX will get up to about 65mph at first with most of it's power in the 2nd and 3rd gears. After the run in you'll be able to get 70mph+ but as with all 125cc bikes over 55mph it's quite a slow buildup to the top speed. Getting it up jetted to 100 over the standard jet makes a big difference.
Which is the best bike for reliability form getting to a to b and won't break easy out of theses bikes. Lexmotot zsx 125 or sinnis apache 125 or pulse adrenaline 125 or honda cbf 125 I have just passed my cbt so thanks for the advice
The ZSX and Honda are probably on par. The Honda Uses EFI so should be a bit easier to start if it's cold. Maintenance wise though the ZSX and the other models would be much easier to sort with issues if they occur. The Apache and Adrenaline are from the same factory but you are paying a bit more for the style over quality.
The two bikes are different. The ZSX is made by Zongshen and the RKS is made by Qianjiang who are the factory behind Generic/KSR, Benelli and Keeway. The Keeway has USD forks but by all accounts they're pretty useless and made to look better rather than actually perform.
The main difference is the warranty. Lexmoto offer 1 year warranty and the Keeway has 2. This generally makes up about £150 when lexmoto are against other brands. The other reason is that Keeway are technically an international brand and therefore they believe the brand is worth a little bit more on like for like. In other counrties keeway are a little more known but not really in the UK which generally results in nobody buying them in the UK. The main reason you'll find them in showrooms is because MotoGB import them into the UK alongside other brands. Most dealers will deal with Sym or Royal Enfield but take on Daelim or Keeway because it's an easy option to stock rather than approach one of the other importers who specialise with Chinese Bikes. Yeah the side stand is quite short but not problematic. On the newer ones they are longer and they don't spring up like on this one. Look for the red rear suspension not white like this one.
Its your money and your 17yrs old ffs. tell them to fuck off, u can spend YOUR money however YOU want. unless they gave u the money for a car that is aha.
Moaned about it to them and to be fair they corrected all the faults. They even collected it and returned it foc. So can't complain. The running in period is a ball ache lol, but it's a nice bike so far :)
Haven't had any problems with the tyres in all conditions. Might just be that you're expecting a bit much from them. Continentals and Michelins will obviously be better but i guess it's down to how you ride it.
