Cool thanks. I got ZSX as well and was thinking about sprockets but will hold for now as not sure if I want to loose power. BTW I decided to buy one after watching your videos and I'm glad I did
Generally during the running in period it's best to keep it calm! After the first service it smoothens out a lot and after 1000 it's epic! Just got to 1000 and increased the jet a little bit and now it's awesome. Beat a Hyosung GT125 off the lights the other day
Replacing the standard oil at the first service makes a big difference but you don't appreciate it until the second service and the second oil change after the has been run in.
thanks for the much awaited walkaround! a shame though my insurance company doesnt do this model yet so back to the drawing board! maybe next year ey? ;)
It's had a 100 jet put in and it had a 94 as standard. Other than that it's much the same. It could benefit from another tooth on the front to get top speed but the acceleration is pretty good atm and more suited to my needs.
So is sproket change the only way to hit 70easily? Love mine, but being 17st im heavy and it really struggles past 65, in for second service at the mo. Got 80 from a r125, and hit 90 on a yammi dt... is there a power valve?
I have this bike, purchased about a month ago now so its worn in (I think). At what number on the revs counter do you think is stretching the bike? Is number 8 which is just before red lining it?
daviesjack12 you'll find if you look at the right side of the engine, a funny looking bent bar comes out of the top, and has a rubber pipe attached. It connects to a fag box sized thing that sits mounted under the tank, with I think 3 rubber pipes coming off it. This is your egr valve
daviesjack12 NP dude, if your going to do it, remember it will void the warranty on the engine, performance wise, it does make a difference, you'll not lose any power or have it "bog down" at higher revs. Mine always did till I sorted this and never had any negative effects. when I sold it back to the dealer he noticed the difference and was impressed
Yeah the side stand is quite short but not problematic. On the newer ones they are longer and they don't spring up like on this one. Look for the red rear suspension not white like this one.
Just got mine delivered today. Seems a good bike, certainly a looker for sure, very pretty. But one thing though, the speedometer reads in km/h, and the dealer told me it can be changed into mph but I can't seem to be able to do it, have you managed it and if so, how do you do it please?
Its your money and your 17yrs old ffs. tell them to fuck off, u can spend YOUR money however YOU want. unless they gave u the money for a car that is aha.
