Hey I have a sky jack sj 85 AJ that works From the ground control but when you switch to the platform I is in constant alarm drive and boom functions don't work
How would I lift the SJ3219 to replace cylinder seals? All fluid blew out now doesn’t raise 😏 Been looking for a manual crank or something to get it up.
Well to answer my own question - I used a couple floor jacks and 2x6 under the basket. Raised them up evenly back and forth til it was high enough to get at the lift cylinder. I supported the basket the entire way as it got jacked up in case the jacks slipped out. Once I go to a level I could work in it, put 4 pipes vertically supporting all four sides of the basket. It wasn’t high enough to use the attached safety support bar but high enough for me to work on it and take out the cylinder to change the seals. Easy job actually. And here’s a bonus tip to save you $100 - the pressure relief valve (safety valve - red knob) doesn’t actually need to be replaced if you F it up. Just use a solid copper wire, wrap around the housing and tighten to the sweet spot where it allows full movement up and down on the basket 👍
I have a Skyjack III 3226 Scissor Lift having so issues. When I push the lever forward or reverse, the pump starts running lift doesn't move, after about 6 seconds the pitch changes and then after another few seconds the lift finally starts moving. But it doesn't seem to move very fast, and there is almost zero speed control. I have a video of it, I just don't know how to send it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Hi Thanks for your videos. I have a jlg articulating boom lift.. Thats been sitting outside for months.. So i added distilled water into the batteries and charged it for a few hours and started moving the boom around Manually.. So i left it to charge all night. Now the next day ,it doesn't turn on.. I only hear clicking noise in the ignition relay.. Any help please
Hello Manuel, I am a lifting machinery technician, I have a problem with a GENIE S60, what happens is that the machine when I am performing a function starts to walk by itself, that is, the brakes are released, when I turn on the machine the brakes are fine, it does not move but if I lift the boom or take out the boom, the equipment starts to walk without me operating it, I have already checked the brake valve and speed two, both are fine, I hope you can give me support👊🏻👋🏻
What abour the rocker switch on top off that same joystick. (Extend ando retract) Has the same issue, joystick didnt work, replaced it with a new one, swing and lift work but not the extend options
I want one but this reminds me of my trip to asia. I wanted the cheap lady , she too made wonderful sounds although looks & felt a bit shakey. Long story short i had a price to pay after my purchase, lots of fees at the doctors lol Did i learn? Idk in here looking at more Chineseium stuff 👀
Do you ever bleed the hydraulic lines? If you replace the steering hydraulic cylinder would you bleed the hydraulic lines before tightening hydraulic lines on steering cylinder?
I’m wondering this too. Did you find an answer? I changed out the lift cylinder seals on my SJ3219, filled the tank back up w Dexron III like it requires. Watched it eat ip some fluid after moving a little up and down, filled up some more. Fluid is nearly full (it seems by the eyeglass) but the lift is suuuuper slow (to raise) and seems to be working harder. So I thought there’s airlock bc it wasn’t like that before.
