Do you ever bleed the hydraulic lines? If you replace the steering hydraulic cylinder would you bleed the hydraulic lines before tightening hydraulic lines on steering cylinder?
I’m wondering this too. Did you find an answer? I changed out the lift cylinder seals on my SJ3219, filled the tank back up w Dexron III like it requires. Watched it eat ip some fluid after moving a little up and down, filled up some more. Fluid is nearly full (it seems by the eyeglass) but the lift is suuuuper slow (to raise) and seems to be working harder. So I thought there’s airlock bc it wasn’t like that before.
Noob question. I recently purchased a used "Upright" brand Scizzor lift (X20N), and am wondering how do I purge all the old fluid out of the system when doing a fluid change or you don't flush ? Do we just drain the tank, clean and replace filter only ?
Typically, just have the unit at stowed should have all the fluid back at the tank. But yeah just fluid change and filter. Check for any shavings by the filter
