Love the Kona, but not sure why it’s so much heavier than it bigger corporate twin) Seltos? FYI I just unsubscribed to a channel where the male reviewer just announced on his channel during his review of this car that his husband thinks that red in the Kona N line looks like lipstick 😮 Hope you guys are straight.I like your reviews I’d hate to unsubscribe you. keep up the good job. All good car reviewers are required to live fast cars and hot women😅 the that’s why I want the N line to be faster,I love it because it loooks the part but ai was fooled by Sam t on Test driven TV, too😅
So it boils down to sporty Spoiler and su combination leather / suede striped seats i for N line vs ventilated seats and roundview cam in the limited o prefer the tech of the limited to the appearance of sportiness on N line both accelerate slow at about 8 . Maybe sport mode can help lp it hit the mid7s? It has equivalent Hp to a cx5 turbo( 32 mph difference on 87 octane and it’s 400 lighter due to its size and PWr isn’t that different either. I’m sure Kona with the c1.6 turbo goes faster than 8.0 to 60!🤷🏾 test it in sport mode!
Just took delivery on a TRD OR this week. I'm stoked. But you Sport guys, take that air dam off the front. The adorable amount of snow in this video already had it as a plow. TFL did a mileage test with and without it and its very little difference. TRD offers an Upgrade package at 4k and a Premium package at 8.8k
I bought a N Line Ultimate 4 months ago in Canada. I absolutely love it. If you want constant 0-60 mph @ 6.8 seconds, here is how: Turn off all stability control. Press and hold until it says "all disabled" Put in Sport mode. Put one foot on break and one on gas. Bring to 2500 RPM to build boost and alleviate turbo lag. remove foot from brake and giver( like a manual launch control) I did add a K&N filter witch adds 7 ponds of torque. I also put 98 octane premium gas. Love this SUV! I got the Denim blue, a real head turner !
Normally that works, but when on track with a helmet and the windows down (as most tracks require), it’s very hard to hear the engine on a street car like this one. Hence, shift light would be a big help.
Hey man I can't find the cover for the C7 Corvette screen door button on the dash. Right underneath the power button for the stereo. I can't find that anywhere.
@@WeAreMotorDriven Yeah I ended up getting one Thank you very much. I saw one example it was I don't know if it was fake carbon fiber or not, but it looked good and I never found it again so I just went with that skull
Just test dove and bought a 2007 3.2 TT DSG, is very smooth even at cruising speed. I also own a TT RS manual, which is a bit tricky to shift well, especially in sports mode.
Thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed the review. If memory serves there were some clicking sounds that were noticeable but only when in straight up EV mode. I don't recall hearing anything when the gas engine was cycled on.
As soon as Donald Trump gets back to the Presidency a lot more hard working Americans will be able to afford a beautiful Corvette!!! And the World We Live In Will Be A Better Place To Enjoy A Sweet Corvette!!! End Story!!!
I am getting about 40 miles on the battery alone, mostly freeway. The acceleration in battery-only mode is still better than my trust Corolla was. I love the dynamic cruise control combined with the TrafficJamAssist. My car beeps "driver inattention" even when I am strictly focused on the road, I think there is a bug there. I do not have the solar panel roof, I understand it can give you 2 or 3 extra electric miles on a sunny day, not enough to justify the cost.
@@WeAreMotorDriven I'm gonna have less-good news on my next tank of gas. I went two nights without charging my Prius. I had plugged my daughter's 2017 Prius into the same outlet and popped a breaker without realizing it. I had to commute all-gas for two days but it is charging now. I had to use a different outlet. Now I am going to have to figure out why that one GFI outlet is dead and not resetting. Problems of home ownership,....
@@WeAreMotorDriven I will report when I fill the tank next. But I have another question for you guys: Foe every-day driving, commuting, I am keeping the car in Eco mode, but should I have it in "EV" mode or "Auto EV" mode? How are they different? I smell the topic of a good video here.
@flingmonkey5494 that’s a good question, and if we can get our hands on another Prime, it would make a great video. As we understood it, the EV mode would keep it EV only until the battery was deleted. This is the mode you want if you are actually plugging in at home or on the go. In Auto EV the car picks and chooses how best to use the EV only mode, and is probably the best all around mode, especially if you’re not regularly charging.
they need to do duel snorkel like older challenger and close that wing looks hidious looks like prious in the inside thats not a mussel car keep your euro shit to your selfs cars wack dodge is done
Great review! It’s convinced me not to buy a Prius prime, considering a cost about the same as a Tesla. Question for you is how in the world is your channel so small? The professionalism that comes through in your videos belies your following. Keep up the great work!
@@NV-xd5ui If you press and hold the EV/HV mode selection switch for 3 seconds, the Prius Prime goes into HOLD CHG mode that uses the gas engine to charge the battery for additional EV mode range. The electric motor will not assist while in this mode.
The Tesla had a limited range compared to the Prime which can go 600+ miles fully charged and fueled. Toyota also has much better quality control build and service by far. My last Prius lasted 19 years with 280,000 miles.
Could’ve pushed that gr86 harder. It’s literally one of the best drift platforms. That run has plenty of room for improvement. I’ve actually run mine against 240i before and was about to get a few seconds faster then the 240 each time. Which is crazy considering the 160 hp difference.
Thanks for your comment! Drifting is usually frowned upon at most autocross events, and definitely at this one. Of course driver skill, tires and brakes make huge differences in times, but you’re right in that the 86 punches way above its class on an autocross circuit. Plus, it’s hella fun to drive and has a sweet 6-speed manual 😎
Im a ford guy probably bc my first vehicle was a ford. Im torn between the ford tremor or a tundra trd. i want a reliable truck. is the tremor with the coyote reliable enough or should i go tundra?
We had a great experience with the F-150 Tremor. Video coming soon. We also recently had the Maverick Tremor which we liked more than we thought we would. But to your point, they are both solid trucks. Our personal preference around the office would be the F-150 Tremor as the new Tundra isn't quite as good as the outgoing model (assuming you're buying new). But definitely go test drive both and see which one feels right! Welcome to the channel!! Make sure to subscribe for more reviews. Best wishes on your decision!!
One thing I like about the Australian market for the RC F is that they don't have any options: everything is standard. Mark Levinson, TVD, moonroof, triple-beam headlights, leather. All standard. The RC F Carbon is I guess a variant, and that's what gets all the carbon parts. But it's not really an "option", per se. The only real option you had was the wheels. It makes shopping for one used so great, because every car has the same features and you don't need to shop around to find the configuration you like. Unfortunately due to crash regulations the RC (along with the IS and CT) were discontinued as of November 2021, so only ~360 cars in total exist in the country. That includes the carbon, track edition and F10 models.
lol. Nah. Def doesn’t just snap into mine. Had proclip for years, 4 diff cars, but this one’s the worst. Blocks vent, possibly blocks wiper stock, same for top screen. And no other options from proclip
After watching this video i decided to go with a 2019 TTRS. Just seemed like the better project car and everyone who drives one seems to be having a blast!
