This is Chef Hussein, Mahfooz, Mahmoon, we would like to offer you a warm welcome to our RU-vid Channel.

This channel aims to provide you with the tools you need for simple, no-nonsense, tasty Indian cuisine: no fancy sauces or intimidating recipes. Straightforward food.

Our family has 9 decades of cooking experience, which began with our great-grandfather Mohammed Rashid in the 1930s - cooking at community events in a tiny village in North-East Pakistan. His food became legendary and was influenced by traditional Pakistani dishes such as Biriani, Jhelum and Handi.

Our grandfather Mirza Rashid moved the business to Nakodar and set up a bustling local restaurant. In 1969, our father Mohammad Rashid brought our family passion to the UK. in 2001, we took over the business and transformed it into The Balti House, an award-winning restaurant in Rishton.

Wherever we make it, our food is full of love; and we want to share our simple secrets to fantastic food with you!

The reason he adds salt to the onion snd to the tomatoes is ut draws out the moisture and quickens the softening. Very nice non bir curry

That looks a doddle to do. I've got the Madras paste, I'll use that, and then I'll do your way (the authentic way). I should have tuned in earlier. I need to get fenugreek, and I'm in business. Oh yeah, I need a lemon.
